I can not stress enough how absolutely amazing this company is. We decided to elope and contacted Totally Tropical Weddings, Jimmy responded and the entire process could not have been easier. Being from out of town we didn't know what to expect, but Jimmy walked us through the entire process and everything was exactly what was described. We were married at Upham Beach, which was so beautiful, the officiant brought a table for us to use for the sand table. Amy was so sweet and professional. The photographer made us so comfortable and took beautiful pictures around the beach and in the secret garden. This was one of the most romantic experiences I have ever shared with someone. I 100 percent recommend them with zero suggestions for improvement. Thank you Jimmy for helping me become a Mrs!!

After hurricane Ian ruined our beach wedding plans in Fort Meyers, Totally Tropical Weddings stepped in and came to our rescue! Jimmy went above and beyond to make our day happen! Being we are from Indiana it was so nice to have Jimmy handling all the details and offering information and keeping my mind at ease! The officiant worked with us to make sure our nuptials were personal and unique to our day! Our photographer captured beautiful images regardless of the wind issue we had. You won’t be disappointed! My love for the warm tropical beaches of St Petersburg and Treasure Island has been a part of me since I was just a tiny little girl. Like any aspiring little princess, I dreamt of the day that I’d walk down the aisle and marry my prince. However, I always envisioned my dream wedding to take place on the sand and I wanted to feel the warmth of the sun from the top of my head to my sand covered toes. On the way home from one of my many blissful retreats to the beautiful beaches of Treasure Island, my fiancé and were excitedly talking about getting married in the beach. Truthfully, it was my DREAM, but I hesitated moving forward due to the fact we lived thousands of miles away and I was intimidated at the thought of planning a wedding, let alone from so far away. I came across Totally Tropical Weddings and called to see how complicated the process would be. I was immediately answered by Jimmy who would turn out to be the gentleman that made all of my wedding dreams come true. I am a planner of details and a somewhat particular person so I wanted to get a vibe from the wedding planner, Jimmy, and see what he could make happen. Throughout the entire planning, Jimmy assured me that he could make the wedding any way I wanted and he literally did exactly what he promised. He was ALWAYS available when I called or texted him and would respond in minutes if he was unavailable at the time that I reached out. I wanted starfish lining my path and flower petals sprinkled down the path and they were meticulously placed leading up to the bridal archway. The arch itself was stunning and beautiful… it was soft and romantic but stood out against the brilliant setting sun with a rainbow of Florida sunset colors above the rhythmic waves. I had at first not included chairs at the wedding since it was initially going to be myself and my groom but as plans changed, Jimmy was able to add seating accordingly for my growing number of guests. His flexibility and help with suggestions for hair and make up personnel, restaurants, attractions and even where to get my flowers from, made EVERYTHING so easy!!! I really wanted tropical floral flowers to just POP in the pictures and they were beyond my expectations, scattered up to the alter and environmentally friendly so as not to harm any of my sea creature guests… The staff, including the set up employees and Reverend Amy and brilliantly gifted photographer Louis, all worked so well together. Their experience and professionalism made the wedding just perfect. I would highly recommend using Totally Tropical weddings if you are looking to marry your forever person and you want everything to go just perfectly. Jimmy even took the time to meet with us the day before at the site of the wedding to make sure we were confident about everything from parking to the distance that our parents would be walking through the sand to get to the wedding spot. I feel like my expectations were beyond met and that the beautiful memories of my wedding day were all perfect because of the wedding planner that I chose. I would highly recommend Totally Tropical Weddings if you are hoping to make your bridal fantasy a reality.

Jimmy was communicative and flexible from the time I reached out to request his wedding planning services. He traveled to our specific location and was willing to work around some obstacles to have our wedding there. He told me many times, “I’ll do whatever you want.” Hurricane Helene trapped Jimmy at his hotel the day of our wedding, and we weren’t able to use his services, but he was able to locate us a new officiant so we could still get married that day. I live in Cincinnati but really wanted a destination beach wedding in St Pete Beach area. I was referred to Jimmy with Totally Tropical Weddings buy a friend.
From the first moment Jimmy and I spoke he listened to exactly what my fiancé and I wanted and even had great ideas that I never thought of. The wedding packages they offered where so reasonable for everything that was included and if needed additional services like a videographer, which we did, they can accommodate. Jimmy even helped us with resources for transportation for wedding party and guests, the wedding cake, and a florist. They were all very professional and amazing! Living in Cincinnati and planning a destination wedding in St Pete you would think would be stressful, but Jimmy took everything out of my hands and took care of everything. I definitely would recommend this company for weddings. They have it down to a science and cater to all different types of weddings and wedding styles. Our wedding turned out to be so beautiful and perfect. I owe it all to Jimmy and Julee of Totally Tropical Weddings.
