Our trip to Tuscany with Enrichment Journeys was wonderful. We first spent two days in Florence on our own and to recover from jet lag. We then gathered as a group to bus to our hotel for the next five days in Tuscany. All of our day trips were well planned full days. Probably our favorite visit was to the estate where Machiavelli spent most of his time. We were there for a cooking class in how to make pasta. It was great fun! All too soon the Tuscany portion of our agenda was over and we were off to board our ship for our return journey to the States. If I had any recommendations it would be to choose a different restaurant for lunch in Siena as the walk to get there was far too strenuous for a bunch of elderly folks. Otherwise, all aspects of the trip were most enjoyable and I would highly recommend the trip to others looking to experience the beauty of Tuscany.

This was a well planned tour through a good part of Tuscany. We also spent 2 extra days in Florence which helped with jet lag and gave us a chance to see quite bit of the inner city. OVC made great hotel arrangements for us and arranged for our pick up at the airport. We arranged the tours on our own using Trip Advisor.

The focus of the tour was on some of the more iconic and historical towns in Tuscany such as Siena and Cortona. There is a lot of walking involved because these very old towns are not conducive to having buses in the very narrow streets. But all the stops were very good. The meals were all very good although we were pastad out after a couple of days. A little more focus on wine would have been appreciated.

We had a very nice group of people in our tour and we met several times after the tour on the ship as we sailed back to the US. Overall, an excellent 3 weeks and a real price performer.

The EJ trip to Tuscany was delightful. The trip was well planned, well executed and very enjoyable. EJ saw to our every need and did everything necessary to make our trip pleasurable. Highlights were our in-depth pasta making class, lunch in the garden in Sienna and our gelato tasting experience. Well done EJ!
