I give three stars only because the food was amazing. But as far as the service it was absolutely horrible. We came in we sat ourselves because that's what they asked us to do. The waitress started off good she took her order got her drinks and then continue to the table with the other front of house employees where she stayed. We had to talk to her from across the dining room to ask her for anything that we needed and interrupt her conversation. We didn't get our salads till after we got the food when we reminded her. They were talking about other employees to where everybody could hear it. And then once again we talked from across the room to ask her to go boxes in the check. It's actually really a shame because I'm a general manager myself of a restaurant in Panama City Beach and it was my first time here and like I said the food was amazing but I will simply not be back because of the service. I get that we were the only people left in the restaurant but sitting down at a table and talking amongst all the employees it ignoring your guest is not the way to go really disappointed

If you are traveling down I-10 and want to eat like a local skip the chains and head to Holiday Restaurant. We have a great server in Macy who helped us pick the best options. Everyone else eating was friendly and offered their favorites from the menu. We stopped in on a Sunday and enjoyed the Sunday special. That included a drink, your meat of choice and three sides plus a choice of your favorite slice of pie!

I been going for a month and everything was good till I tried the catfish that tasted like fried flour. I broke I small piece off ate it, didn't like it and told them, they didn't care and made me pay full price for a whole plate I didn't even touch. Now people can see that cause my skin isn't white you made me pay for a meal full price and I didn't even take more off the catfish to feed a 2 year old. The lady walked away and didn't wanna hear me the man yelled at me about his business and now your business just lost a customer over 22$

Old school mom and pops. Really good breakfast and 15 bucks for a full stomach. And amazing service quick and southern hospitality. Can't beat it.

Excellent service, excellent food. Steaks, tendor and juicy with good flavor. Room for big groups or individuals just eating a meal. Quiet atmosphere, nice evening amongst good folks. Prices good for the quality. Definitely will go back and bring folks with me. I can't wait to taste their homeade chocolate pies.

A place locals know. Don't let the look of the outside keep you away. Although the decor is basic and dinnerware is mostly plastic, it still feels like a mom is cooking the food. All food was cooked well and is delicious. It is a southern home-cooking family style restaurant that offers specials. If you are looking for a non-chain local place to eat in the area, it is definitely worth stopping in here.

We just ate here, my husband had fried shrimp and baked potatoe, I had fried catfish and baked potatoe. They were both delicious. We will definitely be back.

Love the food! Better than home cooking!! Staff makes you feel like family from the first visit and the friendliness is so addicting you just have to return for anther visit...then another....
