This hotel is nothing fancy, however their front desk is extremely helpful and friendly. It’s well taken care of and a great value. Good location and the rooms include some extra desk space I wasn’t expecting. I would plan on staying here again

Review: The Worst Hotel Experience of My Life

I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. From the moment I booked this stay seven months ago for my wedding night, it was an absolute disaster.

When I called in May to ask for a late check-out, I was assured it would be no problem and that everything would be taken care of. But when I arrived the day before my wedding to confirm, I was told there was no late check-out arranged. They outright lied to me.

It gets worse. I specifically informed them I would be arriving late because it was my wedding night. Again, I was told this was fine. Yet, when my spouse and I arrived—me still in my wedding dress, on what was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives—we were met with the rudest treatment I’ve ever experienced in any hotel.

We had left our IDs at the wedding venue, something we explained multiple times and offered to have brought over within seven minutes. Instead of being understanding, the staff (especially one extremely rude woman) treated us like criminals and tried to kick us out of the hotel we had booked months in advance for this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

This hotel completely ruined what should have been a magical end to our special day. Their behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and downright appalling. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially for a meaningful or important event. Save yourself the stress and heartbreak—stay somewhere else.

I stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful experience! You couldn’t ask for a better location, it is close to everything.

The front desk staff was very friendly, and accommodating and the breakfast team greeted guests every morning with smiles and plenty of food. The bed was comfortable, room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool area was pristine and breakfast by the pool was a great way to start the day.

Positive: The room was comfortable, quiet and the hotel was clean and neat. Negative: I found the bathroom sort of weird. The grab on of the bathtub on the wrong side and they needed another grab on an addition to the only one they had for the disabled and the elderly. I also wished the toilets were higher up.

Excellent in humidity control in hotel rooms. The room was clean with no broken/damaged furniture. Breakfast was great! It’s also close to the highway so it was perfect.

Zhanna was superior in customer service |Very nice and polite, the right person to work at the hotel. Also thank you to the cafeteria people JoJo, papa Greg, and Karen. Place was great and make you feel safe. Heating pool was a plus. Free parking and breakfast who can ask for more.

The lobby was fine but the hallway to the guest rooms reeked of mildew. The room itself seemed alright at first glance but turned out to be filthy. There was mold around the sink, in the air filters & on the ceiling of the shower. The bed was horribly uncomfortable & the pillows were very old and flat. Asked for late check out & the staff member said that since I was not a Marriott rewards member, they could not accommodate my request. Also, the breakfast was gross. Two thumbs down. Will not be returning.

I would absolutely steer clear of this hotel. When we arrived, there were all sorts of issues with people and rooms. They had the wrong number of rooms for our reservation. I received my room, endured the longest wait for an elevator possible, entered my room and took some lovely pictures of ants all over the windowsill. I discovered more alive and moving about. I went downstairs and showed the front desk clerk. He actually asked, “so do you want to get another room?” It was hard to bite back the response of, “no, I love sleeping with ants.” So o get my new room, and it’s an icebox with no help from the thermostat. It seemed stuck on one temperature-freezing.
Then I looked about and found an old, dirty room. Hair still in the sink, dirt on floor, mysterious stains on curtains…the list goes on and on. Another favorite phrase they used was, “we don’t know how we missed this” (referring to ants).

I cannot say the front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful. Just “there” would be a good description. In regard to me explaining all this, they seemed really nonchalant. I promised I’d review the hotel for them. And I did say it wouldn’t be a good review.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. It’s dirty, I felt dirty, and it needs a ton of updating.

I will say the breakfast was decent. That was about it!
