I first went on a dolphin/snorkeling tour with Captain Rob in 2016 and it was one of the most amazing experiences! We have booked with Captain Rob several times since then as recently as yesterday and he never disappoints! This year, I took my 5 year old son for the first time and Captain Rob made it enjoyable for my son and us! He puts you right on the dolphins and tells you to jump out at the perfect time. The dolphins always swim RIGHT under me in crystal clear water year after year with Captain Rob guiding our boat. It’s AMAZING! Captain Rob is very knowledgeable and I feel safe with him taking us out. We have also gone snorkeling and had amazing photo opportunities with sea creatures including live starfish! This year we opted out of snorkeling and went to look for seashells instead and had an entire beach to ourselves. It’s my family’s favorite excursion and well worth the money. If you’re on the fence about booking- DO IT!!!

We booked a Jet Ski dolphin tour to Shell Island while staying in Panama City. My GF had never been no a Jet Ski so she wanted the experience. We were able to book from the beach stand in front of our resort (Wyndham on Front Beach Rd) which made it easy and convenient.

We met up with our guide (Brian?) at the marina and after some short paperwork, and lift vests fitting, we were on our way. The "tour" was just us on one jet-ski and the guide on the other, which was nice. We took the late afternoon tour (I think 4:30) so it was less crowded which I highly recommend.

On the way out of the marina, there is no wake, but you still move pretty decently. Once we got into the bay, we were able to open up and hit some waves from other boats, which was a ton of fun. The guide escorted us out to the inlet by the edge of Shell Island and we stopped to see some dolphins near one of the other ships. We were able to get pretty close and I got some decent photos.

After this we headed over to Shell Island, which was about a 10 minute ride. We parked the Jet Skis and got off for a little "excursion" ... the guide stayed with the Jet Skis while me and my GF explored the island. The island has very few shells, due to its popularity, but if you want a "private" beech, I highly recommend it. We took a nice romantic walk, stopped a few times to check out the "scenery" and even saw a small sting-ray in the water! In total we spent about 45 minutes on the island.

Once we were ready to head back, we found our guide, jumped on our skis and headed back. One thing that was nice was that he stopped and showed us some of the less known history and other places around the island (such as down town Panama City, not Panama City Beach), which was cool. We spent another 20-30 minutes "playing" in the bay on the jet-skis, then headed back.

Overall this was a great experience and a great value. I think we paid about $120 for a 2 hour ride with two people. Highly recommend!!

We did our second boat ride with Rob today. Our first being for our honeymoon almost 6 years ago. Today we got to take my 3 year old son and my parents and once again the experience was out of this world. Our honeymoon experience is one that I will never forget and I talk about frequently to this day. Rob is an outstanding captain that truly has a heart for showing people a good time. We saw tons of dolphins and had a blast at a completely deserted shell island. Will never come to Panama City WITHOUT visiting Rob for as long as I can!

Did the dolphins tour. Captain Rob was personal and interactive with the whole family. I have children age between 8 to 12. Captain Rob was knowledgeable and know where the dolphins could be and he even tried finding sea turtle which we saw a few. There was a lot of dolphins siteing. There were so close I felt I could touch them.
Then Captain Rob took us to Shell Island. He led us right onto the trail to the other side of the island. The sand was so white and the kids had fun looking for shells. We even found a few sand dollars.
On the way back In a safe area while captain Rob was driving he even let the kids standing behind the wheel and put hands on it.
Captain Robert is a retired marine. He took our vacation to the next level. Definitely recommended the tour.

We did the shell island dolphin/snorkel adventure with Captain Rob. We had an amazing time. We saw 12 dolphins and a bull shark. The snorkeling was fun and we saw crabs, fish,snails. This will be the highlight of our spring break vacation, and we though Captain Rob was very fun and added to the adventure.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! We spontaneously rented a pontoon boat for our family of 3 to go exploring on Shell Island for half a day. Once our date/time was booked, we received a text to be able to fill out waivers beforehand. On the day of, we showed up around 40 minutes before scheduled and everything was verified. Dustin (I think was his name) was friendly and helpful...he explained how to operate the boat and gave us a little map to show us how to navigate the waters. The boat was nice and clean and in good condition. We anchored on the bay side and walked over to the Gulf side where the water and views were AMAZING. Our kiddo (and myself) had the best time on this trip! Totally worth it having the freedom to navigate where we wanted to go and on our own time.

We were skeptical of any tours. We took a chance with FunPCB. We had a guided tour with Captain Rob. It was a great experience. Captain Rob put us on dolphins and guided us with swimming with the dolphins. I would definitely recommend this outfit.
