Happened to be passing through here so I thought I would check it out. It’s definitely worth a stop. Not much to it really. It’s a old train that doesn’t move. But it’s history. It is cool to see how things used to be. If you have ten minutes or less you have plenty of time. There is a park and a playground not to far from it. I did not go to that side. It’s on the other side of the street.

Nice place for a quick play break. There's a covered pavilion with picnic tables and a grill for parties and get- togethers. Clean restrooms with a water fountain outside. The trail comes right past the park, and the trees cover nicely so it's nice to run or walk down mid-day in the shade. Handicap parking and sidewalks are good for everyone to be able to enjoy this park.

Small railroad themed museum with lots of railroad memorabilia/artifacts. Nice steam engine and cars out front. Playground with a train themed piece of equipment. No fee, can leave a donation.

Misleading to call it a "park" its just a train sitting in a grass median behind a restaurant. However, the train is large and easily accessible for a quick stop and we had a good time checking it out.
