This was such a great experience! My daughter and I were flying into Tampa to ride horses in the ocean and camp. Since we were flying, I had no idea how I was going to make the camping part work until I found HitchTopTent. Ian was fantastic and made this trip so much more special than just staying in a hotel. He made sure we were all set up in Fort De Soto state park before we arrived and we had everything we needed and even some extras! In addition to the super cool tent, he also provided a cooler, kayak, chairs and firewood. Now my daughter never wants to camp the normal way again! It was amazing and he was so easy to work with. Will definitely be a trip we will remember forever!

I had a hard time finding a new Gheenoe 15' 4'' in the Saint Petersburg area. Gheenoe recommended to call Hitch Top Tents. I called and Ian had plenty in-stock. I already had the trailer and Ian helped me put the boat on the trailer, as well as adjust the trailer to fit the new boat. I love it! Highly recommend this store. They care about their customers. The best camping experience We’ve ever had! Ian was wonderful to work with from start to finish. We had so many people coming up to our campsite at Fort De Soto to ask us about the tent and to tell us how cool it was! I was handing out HitchTop postcards like crazy! Really great company!

Really impressed with this tent rental! Spent the weekend at Ft DeSoto in some pretty strong winds (25-30 mph) This tent barely moved in the wind! Comfortable to sleep in and great set up service. Will definitely use this company again!

Overall amazing experience! I have used them a few times now & have rented out their single tents, family tree house tents as well as gotten kayaks, fire package and bicycles from them.

From the phone call with Ian to book it, to them delivering and setting the entire campsite up before we even got there, to coming to pick it up and tear it all down. Everything was great. Not a single person had to do any work at all besides bring our pillow, blankets, clothes & food!

The tents are extremely stable, we even camped through a bad thunderstorm when other campsites around us got flooded out, but we were above ground & didn't even know it had rained. The storage available in them is awesome as well. Did I mentioned the tents also have AC?!

I highly recommend these guys for your camping needs!
