Troy fraudulently sold me a used, corroded part for my BCD as if it was new ($81.00 part). When I got it home and took a look at it , it was obviously a used part from one of his rental sets. When I brought it back for a refund or exchange for an actual NEW part, he got defensive, belligerent and refused to take it back or take responsibility. He is not only the owner but the one that put the old part on my set and he sold it to me personally. Troy is a fraud! Stay away from this shop and DO NOT BUY anything here. Buyers beware!

I am a snowbird but am spending more and more of the year in Florida. I have a SCUBA trip coming up and I needed to get my dive computer serviced, as it gave me an issue on my last trip. I brought all my dive stuff with me from up north and not knowing who sold what brands I stopped by Dive Florida just because it was close. I asked if they serviced my particular make of dive computer and he stated that he did not. He did however ask me what was wrong with it and I told him I was having a problem getting the transmitter to sync with the wrist computer. While he didn't promise anything he offered to take a quick look at it. After checking a couple of simple things, like are the batteries good he tried to connect the transmitter to his personal dive computer. When that worked he tried to connect it to my wrist computer. Although he doesn't sell my brand of computer, he was able to figure out how to link the two, put the transmitter on a SCUBA tank and get a reading. So I don't know what the problem was I had on my last trip, but it's working now.

I did not buy my equipment from him, he did not know me from Adam, but I still got great customer service. He spent very little time on it and didn't even want to charge me when I asked how much I owed him, but I insisted on paying him. I can't recommend Dive Florida enough based on the great service I got as a walk in.

30+ year diver who recently moved to the area and needed a new Dive Shop. Troy, the owner and Steve are both VERY knowledgeable and experienced divers who genuinely want you to be happy with your gear and to leave with gear that fits you properly. I have been to the shop several times and have witnessed both of them recommend a lower priced item to a customer who simply thought the most expensive thing is what they needed.

I have purchased gear here and their set-up and delivery is excellent!

I would recommend and have recommended this shop to anyone looking to learn the basics, take advanced classes or buy or upgrade their equipment.

AMAZING! I can't say enough positives about Steve and our experience. We got stranded by another place and had to hurry to find another shop to get our kids' certification completed while we were on vacation. I called and Steve was happy to help. He instructed our 3 teenage girls over the course of a few days. He was wonderful. He attention to detail and safety was outstanding. He was patient and made sure that no corners were cut during their lessons. I can't say enough good things about our experience with him and his experience.

Fantastic dive shop. Steve was so patient with me as I struggled with my anxiety while diving. He never gave up on me even when I wanted to give up on myself. You can tell that Troy, the owner, loves what he does. He is proud to sell good equipment and make sure that you have equipment that is going to fit you properly, not just try to sell you the most expensive thing on the shelf. I would recommend this shop to everyone
