The absolute best day we had on vacation was with Island Hopper’s! Captain Brad Pitt (Bobby) was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the island and the sea and always sprinkled in some humor. We were able to completely customize our trip, they were very accommodating, allowing us to snorkel, see tons of wildlife, relax on the sand bars, and even grab a jell-o shot! By the end, we felt like we had made some new friends and could’ve stayed out on the boat all day! We will definitely be returning!

Awesome trip! Captain Bobby was fun and very personable! He took us to some great spots and was knowledgeable and friendly. We loved every moment of our trip and will definitely book with Captain Bobby the next time we are in Anna Maria!

I usually don’t write reviews but I felt compelled to spread the good word about Island Hoppers Boat Tours. We just got back from a 4 hour private pontoon tour with Captain Billy. First, the pontoon looked brand new. It was very clean and was equipped with floats, snorkels, small handheld nets, shell bags, and a cooler with ice and water bottles. Captain Billy is such an asset to this company! He catered the tour to our interests. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area, waterways, and the marine wildlife. He even gave us some restaurant suggestions! At one of the sandbars, Captain Billy anchored the boat and got into the water with us to show our teenagers different shells and marine life. Our tour with Island Hoppers Boat Tours made our first trip to Anna Maria Island such a memorable one!

My family and I had Captain Billy on our boat tour this past week. It was beyond relaxing and beautiful. He was super informative, as was Captain Bobby when I initially called to get information. Highly recommend this company, they know what they are doing (not just some guys with boats trying to make a buck). Adult and kid approved!

Yesterday we took a private boat tour with Island Hooper Boat Tours. Highly recommend it. The family and I had such a great time. Captain Clay was everything and more you could ask for as your captain. He was friendly, outgoing, helpful, fun to be around, and most importantly knowledgeable of the area including its wildlife and history. He took us to the locations based on our interests. Perfect trip and would go again. Thank you Captain Clay for helping my family make memories we will cherish.

Incredible experience. Captain Bobby is super knowledgeable and took us to all the best spots. He knew where marine life would be and we saw multiple dolphins and manatees. He also knew of a great sand bar where we were able to get out and swim around. He had snorkel gear which was really fun. I went with a large group of girls and he was more than happy to take photos of us. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!!

Captain Bobby and Natasha were wonderful tour hosts. Their energy and attitudes were great. His knowledge of the area and the water is second to none. Definitely will do this again when we come back.

Capt. Billy was friendly, down-to-earth and knowledgeable. He took care of our group and made accommodations for elderly and special needs (and lots of bathroom breaks)! Our favorite part of the tour was walking the sandbars where we saw decorated crabs, sea sponges, grouper, dolphins and whelk. We visited nesting islands where we saw pelicans, snowy egret, heron, and roseate spoonbill. Capt. Billy shared local history, particularly about the family owned fisheries and current efforts to clean up after the recent hurricanes. He gave us great restaurant recommendations. Thank you for giving us lasting family memories!
