We had an amazing time visiting from out of town. We didn’t know what to expect but found everything accessible, easy and walkable with a variety of slides and water features and extra entertainment at the water park. The free soda, ice and water was a huge plus on a hot day. We got here at opening and also got chairs under the umbrella for shade. They will fill up so go early or rent a cabana. The park was very clean and the staff was great! I would definitely come back to try the amusement park side next time. We give this place two thumbs up.

Good place to take small kids. There were lots of water attractions for younger kids and you could rent strollers or wagons. Free soft drinks throughout the park and free parking were two of the best features.

Nice park to take smaller kids to. We went 7/11/24 had a 10 and 6 year old boys. They loved the water park. Wasn’t crowed, could ride the bigger slides without too much of a wait. Went over to the rides side, could use some work, wasn’t hardly anybody on that side and you got a short ride. They have a new roller coaster Chedder mouse-highly recommend NOT riding this roller coaster. Has 90 degree turns which snapped you back on each corner-Painful. The cabanas are nice to rent- fan, safe, roomy. Would go back mainly for the water park!

Cute little park. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Their big coaster is closed right now so we didn't get to ride that.

The staff support was superior for my exceptional needs son and super nice. The only things I would recommend is extra sunscreen at more spots and maybe less wait times for food.

Overall, the waterpark was great, but mainly why I gave this a four star because the rides were all like kitty baby rides. They can add more to the dry rides to be for all ages and different age range but this is not a big deal. I just feel like it should be a change. Also, I would like to say I want to say it could be better than Six Flags because at Six Flags if you just go for the day, you don’t get free parking or your Refillable cups for drinks if you go here and you bring your own plastic cup you get free refills and drinks one thing to note they only take credit cards or like debit cards for food and drinks if you’re buying them but overall, the water area was great. I feel like There should be more water rides and more age-appropriate ride that are dry right and the experience with their meals are great. I would give this a highly rating if it had some better ride, but if you just want to go for water rides, that is fine also just note riding the dry rides mainly there for youngsters but they can still be fun. I just feel like their biggest roller coaster is closed. The swings are closed. It’s Their biggest rides that would make it more age-appropriate. I feel like also the accessibility for the people who are deaf and blind I feel like there could be improvements of communication with people who are blind or low vision or hard at hearing to tell when to go in the rides rules. Some of the lifeguards did not understand that I feel like that was one other issue From my perspective. I am a low vision student in high school. I did not appreciate the way that the communication and the disability options that they don’t provide.

We haven't been in a few years but we're so impressed with all of the updates and changes. We were not nickel and dimes at every turn. Parking was free, discounts for purchasing our tickets on line was a plus, free drinks all day. Well placed sunscreen stations, lots of shady areas for those of us who can't do sun was a welcome plus. After being given all the free extras, We gladly paid $30 for a pizza that was giagiantic and fed all 6 of us. Rides, shows and wave pools were some of the highlights. Plenty to do and I must say from the entrance to the exit the place was neat and Tidy. We got there at the opening and it wasn't crowded but as the afternoon progressed it did fill up.
A fun day and a definite place to tell my friends about. They really represent Birmingham well ❤️‍?

Alabama Adventure has grown a bit since the last time I was there but still needs some improvements. It’s a great place to spend family time on the weekends though. Our kids loved the water. Though they had access to both sides of the park, they literally spent the whole day in the water so I can’t comment on the other rides.

I gave it a 3 star because my son and nephew were hurt and food options are limited.

My son was injured but nothing bad just some scapes. The lifeguard placed a bandage but I don’t believe they fully assessed the wound and he ended up bleeding through the small bandage. We went to the First Aid area, which is where they should have sent him initially, and they were able to clean it and apply an appropriate covering. My nephew also left there needing to go to urgent care due to severe bug bites. The grassy areas need to be treated.

Food options are pretty limited and no outside food is allowed. I am a bariatric patient so I was glad that I was allowed to take in one protein drink or else I wouldn’t have had any nutrition at all during our entire stay. There are no bariatric friendly options at all. The kids were limited to tons of sugar, pizza, or chicken fingers. While the drinks are free, many of the options did not work at the various drink stations.

Overall, I’ll continue to patronize because we need more places like this in Alabama. It could be a great attraction with some improvements.
