Fantastic little dive shop I stumble upon today! I didn’t know about the grotto next door, I am from up north and needed a few things for a dive in the gulf. That turned into an awesome day of diving with Mike with no other divers! The visibility wasn’t the greatest, but the cool little things in the quarry and the sunken bits make it very fun! Very cool and worth the small entrance free to dive. And fill your tanks, support this gear little shop! And stick around a bit and you might here some cool diving stories.

Absolutely 💯 💯 the best quality services for Dive and Scuba gear at reasonable prices! I took part of my OWC here at their pool. They have a FULL SERVICE SCUBA SHOP AND FILL TANKS AND SELL QUALITY GEAR FOR GREAT PRICES! I CANT EMPHASIZE THIS MORE. I dive locally and LOVE this place! EVERYONE is absolutely HELPFUL and KNOWLEDGEABLE. These people KNOW THEIR STUFF. Visit and find out!...they also have an amazing 👏 ✨️ dive location directly across from the shop, The Hudson Grotto...OVER 100 FEET DEEP with platforms at respective depths...did I forget to mention...THEY TEACH DIVE CLASSES HERE! Get involved in LITERALLY (in my opinion) one of the BEST SPORTS IN FLORIDA! Also... I bought this mask there...ITS AWESOME!!! THANK YOU JOE!

Although when you first drive in you think this place is sketchy. Walking through the doors this establishment is state-of-the-art. They have top of the line gear & employees. The water well is what it is but don't let that send you packing, go down & explore the hidden treasures that have been placed.

As I got to know Jeff @ Scuba West, you can tell he REALLY knows his stuff and is very passionate about what he does and helping others!
He is the most helpful, funny, open, honest and smart dude when it comes to EVERYTHING Scuba Diving. Like, I am not worthy.... lol Seriously, this is the REAL deal place to come for any and everything related to Scuba diving, they have a lot of knowledge and they back up their products. Check out the Grotto they have too, it is very unique! Plenty of parking, wonderful Staff too! It’s a nice relaxing atmosphere...
There is a REASON they have return customers and regulars - Any and everyone who wants to learn or know about it should contact Scuba West. No Scuba experience at all? NO problem here!

My son and I took our open diver class here. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and does a great job explaining things and provides good detail beyond just the basic knowledge, they explain why. Prices are reasonable and they work with you.
Some people out there talk down about the Grotto, I found the ease of access between the class room, pool, and the Grotto to be awesome. No long drives or boat rides to perform open water drives. Everything you need within 100yards (plus there is beer next door to celebrate completion of your cert!). The Grotto is not that bad and I think if offers some unique opportunities to work on skills that are not part of normal dive courses and it is a fantastic place to work on skills and get to know your gear. It is also distraction free, not crowded, and helps you focus on your skills and stay in a learning mindset.

I was certified as an open water diver through Scuba West. It has a large pro-shop, just about everything you need to get started. The staff is amazing, my dive instructor is amazing, he was very patient with me, and highly supportive. Even today I still call him from time to time for advice or to schedule another training session. The grotto is really awesome. They put a lot of money and effort to make that a great dive location.

Great facility with lots of gear! Repair - and they have the Hudson grotto across the street.
Offer courses and can help point you in the right direction if you need help!
They recently hosted an inspection class and it was fantastic!

Awesome place to dive, but it is dark and deep. Recently, the shop has improved markedly, and is a good place for training and gear.

Note that they are closed on Wednesday during the winter.
