Above Average Fishing Charters was perfect! The price is very reasonable and we all Had a Great time. We caught like 30 fish of all different types and sizes in about 20 minutes between 5 of us… my Dad caught 7 fish on one piece of Bait! Captain was Great and very knowledgeable on the best tasting ones to keep. Then at the end we took all our fish and had the restaurant right off the dock cook them up for us!

We caught so many fish so fast we actually ended up cutting the trip 1 hour short and the captain refunded us for that time! One of the best fishing charters I have been on!

Captain Bobby and fist mate Kaleb
Were amazing. They put us right on the fish and our boat was the size winner of the day. Could not ask for anything more from a captain and first mate. Their enthusiasm made every catch that much more special. Not only did we get a trophy grouper, but a trophy mangrove snapper!! Could not be happier and recommend a this crew 💯!!!

Great experience! My son and I told Bob that we wanted to catch something awesome and catch something for dinner. He did not disappoint! On our 4 hour trip we hooked a 6’ hammer head shark and enough grunt to feed 10 people. Also caught a cool puffer fish. We would definitely use them again.

Loved it! Kids called it “better than Disney.” We booked last minute but the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful, even having to come into work last minute on a Sunday. Captain Bob is the best! Calm, helpful, knowledgeable, fun, and great with kids! He was busy helping us find the best spots, reel in fish, take photos, and adjust our kid’s sunglasses but he took everything in stride. Our whole family had a great afternoon and evening eating the fish we caught at the restaurant across the street!

This place was definitely "Above Average"! We had a great 4 hour trip trolling for Spanish Mackerel. Our Captain, Captain Rich threw in the first 2 lines and we had action immediately. When that spot started to die down he did an awesome job of keeping things moving so the fish kept hitting. Helen was very friendly and helpful in getting us booked, even providing us with some flexibility with what time we could start our fishing trip since our hotel was a couple hours away and gave us some good advice on managing seasickness. Take one Dramamine the night before your trip and one more the morning of your trip out to sea. The waves were a bit choppy when we went out, adding an extra bit of challenge and excitement to our fishing trip, but we had no problems after following Helen's instructions on taking the medication. If you've never been out to sea before, I highly recommend taking the Dramamine, just in case. Once we returned to land, Captain Rich swiftly fileted our fish and pointed us in the direction of Crabbys restaurant (which was right across from where the Above Average boats are docked) where we had our freshly caught fish cooked to order and they were delicious! I'm looking forward to booking my next fishing trip with Above Average again!

What an experience! Shark fishing is the real deal! Action packed. Captain Bob and Jacob were great. They took us out for the afternoon and we caught 7 sharks and a king Mackerel. One of the sharks was a giant and took us over 30 minutes to real in.
