FIVE STARS FOR MITSY at the breakfast bar. She is so positive. She tells everyone to have a blessed day and makes sure everything is perfect. She is such an angel!
The rooms were clean but nothing super special. Front desk service was also super positive and very helpful, the gentleman was great as well. They have amazing staff here!

I stayed here The end of December thru Jan 1 . The hotel is clean .The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly. Zoey at the front desk went above and beyond to print out my boarding passes for my flight home but the most outstanding person here is Mitzi who works the breakfast room! She was so kind and upbeat every morning I was there . She took pride in her job and was on top of everything every day! A joy to be around. It's people like this that make your stay excellent. A top notch employee.

The manager Michelle was very rude, disrespectful, and racist. I had a noon late check and was behind 20 minutes she came knocking on the door and said if I don't leave in 5 minutes, I will call the police and have them escort you out. Her assistant was rude and disrespectful and saying mean and racist statements to me as a platinum Marriott member. This place is a misrepresentation of the Marriott franchise. I'm a platinum member and I have never been treated with total disrespect. The rooms are outdated, smell, the carpet is dirty and the hallway carpet is ripped. Then you lied to Marriott about my behavior to the company.

After Hurricane Helene, we lived four months at this Fairfield Inn and Suites while we put our home and lives back together after the flood. You will not find a more "real" or accurate description of the location, facilities or staff than this account.

Let's start with staff. They gather almost every morning--we witnessed several meetings--and they are like a family. My wife and I take our hats off to the General Manager, Amy, who has been with the property since it opened 18 years ago. She cares about everyone on her team, and believe it or not, all the guests, too. She did countless things to make our stay more enjoyable, without even telling us about it.

On the morning crew in the breakfast room--a sumptuous spread of cakes, baked goods, fruit, cooked to order waffles, omelets and yes, even chocolate milk, we got to chat each day with Mitsy, Ron and sometimes Kathy. The friendliest folks on earth (along with the rest of the staff). The only thing missing? Hot chocolate. Seems that some folks were taking handfuls of the packets to their rooms. Shame on them. I hope they bring hot chocolate back and find a way to dispense it to those who request it.

The housekeeping staff? Simply wonderful. There's Marvelous Margaret in her 70s. She is strong, ready to stop and hear about your day at the drop of a hat. What a wonderful soul! There's Shannon, another woman I will never forget for the rest of my life. On the way to work one day she actually stopped and tried to save the life of someone in a car wreck who had plowed into a swamp. She waded in like a hero, came to work dripping wet and shaken afterwards anyway. Hang a medal around her neck Marriott! There was a young blonde and a young man who also regularly serviced our rooms--we never learned their names--but everyone went the extra mile as we were getting out of in the morning to work on our house, keeping our room stocked with towels, the bathrooms tidy, the trash emptied, wow. What a great job they do, day after day!

On the front desk, there is Adam, who can do seven things at once and make everyone feel good in the process. Find a way to clone this young man, Amy! Shannon and Kathy filled in some days and could work miracles, took, from checking folks in, making new room keys, dispensing information and generally acting like a host to a big party sleepover where everyone is welcome.

The facilities, well, we never got to use the gym or the pool (the water never seemed warm enough over the winter). In all of 120 days we were on the property, we only saw one person use it one time, but of course, it was winter and sane folks were back in their rooms as the temperature dipped below 70 degrees.

The location? Right off 19 and packed in there. Right beside a car lot with big trailers loading and unloading cars that occasionally block your car and make you wait a few minutes. There is an unmarked entrance only accessible from the northbound lane of 19; be sure not to miss it because it drops you right at the doorstep of the hotel in seconds.

It was near 100% occupancy almost every day we were there. If you arrived after 9 p.m., you had to park on the lot next door. No big deal, a short walk, but discovering the lot is full late at night and having to back out of the rear parking spaces can be a nightmare, especially in the rain or fog. We did it several times and, thank goodness, we never ran into anything. A rear exit would be nice as it's so tight and nearly impossible to turn around in. Another gripe. The front half of spaces between Hwy 19 and the lobby are for compact cars only, but it seems every truck in Pasco County utilizes these spaces, taking up two of them. Or when you can fit in, you often have to suck in your breath to get out of your car door without scratching the SUV parked beside it. Best spaces? Just after the lobby where normal car dimensions are laid out and someone can park on the line without taking up the adjacent space.

When we left, everyone mentioned in this review got a hug. We were happy to return home, but we miss our adopted family!

Overall our stay was okay. The room was clean and staff were nice. Our TV was not working but maintenance was able to fix the issue. The mattress on our bed was like sleeping in a hole. It needed to be replaced. We liked the size of our room and location but the hotel could use some TLC.

I can not comment on the rooms for I only come for the breakfast. Outstandingly clean I have to say from the lobby to the dinning room. The blond woman running the breakfast was being trained and she was doing an excellent job wiping tables as soon as guests got up and even took my plate for me after I was done. Great staff

Marriott Titanium. ||Work travel. I was not thrilled with the actual hotel and room, but the staff goes out of their way to make customers happy. ||Pros:|- Staff. The AC was not working in the first room I was given. The staff were apologetic and assigned me to a new room where they went up to make sure the AC was working. ||Cons:|- Rooms and central area was rundown. Needs a facelift and better maintenance. ||Again, the staff was great, but the rooms and common areas need some TLC.

This is an older building that although being kept sparkling clean, is beginning to show its age and is in need of a major refresh. One of the two older TVs in our room did not work, but was nicely remedied by the staff. The room was musty from the aging air conditioning. But here's the good news...every member of the staff at this hotel was friendly, helpful and professional. Mitzi in the dining area was pleasant and dedicated, and her efforts to keep the food service at its highest level was evident. Breakfast was a big A plus. The front desk service can best be described as efficient, smiling and welcoming.
