Thomas was an awesome guide who really went above and beyond to make our tour amazing. He was very good with my 3 kids as well! He provided us blankets as it was a very chilly day, coffee, pointed out all the fun things (dolphins, horses) and allowed time for my kids to really enjoy it. He even let them be captains for a picture. Would definitely do it again, hopefully warmer weather next time! Thanks, Thomas!

Had a great time. Our guide Rachel was knowledgeable of the island's history. She was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend the Cumberland island tour for more experienced paddlers. It was about 5.5 miles round trip and the river does create quite a current.

My friend and I had the best time on the Cumberland Island kayak tour with Amelia Adventures! CJ and Stacy were excellent guides and full of knowledge- both on land and on the water. We went over kayaking technique before we went out, and my friend and I felt very safe with them on the open water. The trip gives a good amount of time to get to the island and explore a bit. This is a must do excursion if you’re visiting Amelia and Fernandina, or if you live close by.

Great experience! Jamie and Rob took good care of everyone throughout the entire day. We got some instructions at the beginning and then and gentle float down a beautiful blackwater creek. Lush landscape and great photo opportunities around each bend. Jamie took great photos of each group and gave some interesting history as we paddled. Highly recommend this outfit!

Cory and Carrie were great tour guides and showed us exactly what to do in order to stay safe and have fun. So knowledgeable about the trail and filled us in whenever they saw something cool. Great experience!

We had an amazing experience with the Miss Evelyn tour. We saw a dozen or more dolphins, and the horses on Cumberland Island. The guide (Dylan) was knowledgeable and friendly. It was an experience our family will remember for a long time.

Our sunset boat tour was a real treat after a long day of beach and pool time. Easy on everyone - relaxing for this parent and entertaining for the kids. Capt Sandy had a wealth of local knowledge to share, especially about Cumberland Island. Seeing the wild horses was a novelty we hoped for and we saw more dolphins swimming together than we’ve ever seen before. Catherine and Thomas gave me great personal customer service when making reservations and following up to help with a change of plans. I highly recommend this professional, personal, family operated adventure group.

We rent kayaks from Amelia Adventures every year we visit here, and we typically do our own self guided tour on Lofton. This year we decided to get a bit more adventurous and go out to Cumberland Island. Stacy was the best guide! We had such an amazing time, and our 11 year old son was thrilled to find sand dollars and shark teeth! Thank you for a wonderful experience! We can’t wait to do another trip next year, and we hope Stacy will be available to take us! 5+ stars for sure!
