We had a wonderful afternoon with Captain Bill! He was so personable and kind to my young children (7,5,5). He was a wealth of knowledge of the area and we had a great tour! We were able to see dolphins, wild horses, pelicans, and gorgeous scenery on our journey to and from Cumberland Island. The private tour was a great fit for my family of 5 and the bathroom on board was perfectly clean and so helpful! Highly recommend!

Captain Bill and our boat ride around Cumberland Island was absolutely MAGICAL. There are no words to describe how much this boat ride meant to me and my family! Being able to see the wild horses roam free and the beautiful, endless plains of historic land was a moment in my life I will never forget. Captain Bill was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the area as well as the wildlife. I am incredibly thankful and will savor this memory forever.

If you are looking for an amazing time on the water with a captain that is both knowledgeable and personable, then Captain Bill is for you. I wanted to treat my husband to a relaxing ride around the island while I practiced my new photography skills. We got everything we wanted! We learned a lot of history of the Amelia and Cumberland Island, experienced the peace of being on the water, and got to see lots of animals (trying to take pictures of the dolphin is like playing whack-a-mole!).

We went on a boat sunset cruise with Captain Glenn this past week. It was the highlight of our trip! He was extremely knowledgable and friendly. The water was a little choppy in some spots because of the wind. We had a storm the previous day so the water wasn't as calm in certain areas. But Glenn made sure to make it as easy of a trip as possible. We got to see so many things…a bald eagle, pelicans, lots of dolphin sightings, the wild horses on Cumberland Island, Fort Clinch, the lighthouse on Egan’s Creek, and the most beautiful sunset! If you are visiting Amelia Island do not hesitate to book the Gailforce II for your cruise.Both Captain Bill and Glenn are the nicest guys. It is so much more of a personal experience than booking with Amelia River Cruises. Trust me, just do it!

We had an amazing sunset cruise with Captain Bill! We saw a bald eagle, wild horses, and more than 10 dolphins that repeatedly swam right under the boat! They were so close! What an incredible experience. Captain Bill took his time to ensure we had a fantastic time and we also really enjoyed learning about the history of the area; Captain Bill is very knowledgeable and super friendly. Also the on-boat potty was a big plus. If you’re in the area definitely book a sunset cruise on the Gail Force II!

Awesome boat, awesome ride, even better Captain. Captain Glen was great, he gave us wonderful information about the area and more importantly gave my son an experience he'll remember. (Honk honk). We saw lots of wildlife and had a very relaxing ride. 11/10 will book again!

Also Captain Bill was fantastic and easy to work with leading up to and after our experience.

We had an amazing evening with Captain Bill aboard his beautiful boat. It was a surprise birthday celebration that could not have been scripted any better. If you want to get up close and personal with the River, and the wildlife, and share them with those you love, then this is your cruise. Bill is a wonderful host with stories and anecdotes about Fernandina’s rich history. The experience will be remembered as one of the best birthdays ever!

The Gail Force II experience was amazing! The Captain, Mr. Bill was so experienced & genuine it made the boat ride so worth it. Bill is a retired pilot who went from conquering the skies to navigating the seas of Amelia Island with such knowledge! From seeing dolphins, to wild horses it was such a lovely morning boat road on The Gail Force II with Bill the Captain. Once again thank you Mr. Bill & thank you Gail Force II for the splashes & great time!
