This is a beautiful new place to enjoy the experience of water rafting in the city. There's rock climbing and kayaking, corn husk and other things I didn't go the course to explore. My favorite is the cafe and full bar. You can also sit in chairs along the man made river to watch others beat the waves. Wonderful spot! Jen made me smile as she prepared me a Wild Leap Strawberry Mango cocktail from the tap!

Stay in the raft. Our guided trip overturned quickly and it got a little scary! The adult appointed life jackets didn't seem to do a super job of keeping us a float and No-one was creekside to offer any assistance. My wife and I enjoyed the initial lap on the creek... but the more adventurous route, wasn't for us! Try it and let us know your thoughts. Great venue, very clean. Well laid out. Just not for everybody. We both got a little scratched up on our adventure. Maybe you won't. Have fun. And..nice giftshop!

This is a great place to sharpen your skills or to just have fun, in a controlled environment. I would definitely recommend having a bit of experience before kayaking thru the rapids tho.

Came with Family for Company outing..this place is AMAZING to be man made...Everything here and everyone is Great...our Guide's name was Davis...He is Super Awesome and I highly suggest asking for him. He was super knowledgeable and courtesy. We laughed and he was just all around a cool guy..We went on every section multiple times foward, backwards and sideways..we tried every way we could to flip and Davis asked what do you want to do because this is the last run..we said to Die without truly Dying..He laughed and said YOU GOT IT..! Was soooo much fun.! BE SURE TO TIP YOUR GUIDE AND HANG ON...LOL

My teen enjoyed the July summer youth camp so much that we signed up for the fall/September sessions as well, great for homeschoolers & any kid 10-17 years old as it offers 2 hours on Sunday (12-2pm) and 2 hours on Thursday (3-5 pm)! All supplies are included for the lessons and it’s a great way to learn as a group.

The fall sessions are smaller than the summer youth classes so it’s a great way to pay discounted group lesson rate while feeling like an almost private lesson. They learn so much so quickly the kids seem to catch on at a great pace and instructors are great!

My son personally loved the very helpful body position tips from Paul as his instructor. He felt like it helped him figure out body positioning and movements best with Paul.

Wes he says has one of the most fun personalities to learn with as he is goofy and keeps things light but great to learn from, he makes my son laugh the most.

Both Emily’s my son enjoys taking lessons from (blonde/pink hair Emily was one of his favorites from summer camp), the other Emily has been his regular instructor this fall and very patient and excellent with fine tuning learning how to roll, practicing over and over again. She keeps him focused and is professional and talks things through clearly with him, taking the time to go back and look at problem areas and discussing what “lines” to do air and why etc

Every person brings something different and unique to the table to learn from and it’s been a great team of instructors they have here!

Gem in the Outfitters store & registration has gone above and beyond working out the kinks and handling paperwork, registration, checking us in etc. she remembers names very well of guests and that makes being here all the more personal and welcoming.

They are military friendly!

We love this new sport for our son since downhill Mountain biking isn’t as available here as it was in Colorado, and this place gives someplace to fill that void on too hot to bike ride days, but now my son is addicted to kayaking and wanted to be on the water as much as possible ?

Great experience. I went there without any gear (I have some experience in kayaking and can do a roll) and was able to rent some gear. Daypass $25 and gear reantal like $41. One of the best experiences ever. Thanks to all the staff for being very friendly and helpful.

Montgomery Whitewater fulfills the highest expectations set for one hoping to go Whitewater rafting. With cheerful instructors and a fun man-made course, kids and adults alike will enjoy the experience. In addition to the water course, there's an on site restaurant, store, and several activities to entertain guests should they have to wait for the next group to begin rafting.
