We took the sunset tour and the captain was very good. She told us a lot of information and it was a very useful tour. grand Isle has lot of history an it was amazing to hear all of them. it was a two hour tour. We saw dolphins, pelicans and a whole lot of birds. We loved the trip and we have learnt so much about grand isle in two hours.

I selected Calmwater Charters, operated by Captain Danny, after reviewing his website then speaking with him via phone. It was quickly apparent he had the experience to find fish, knew the bays/bayous and most importantly would provide my family (wife and two teenagers) with a great experience. We had a great day on the water catching redfish, speckled trout, flounder and a few catfish. On the way back to the marina he stopped to let us film a few groups of dolphins. Captain Danny provided the perfect experience for our family. I’m confident he’d deliver an equally strong charter experience for a group of die hard anglers, as well. Calmwater Charters gets my highest recommendation!
