Riley was an incredible captain and host of the waters for our 4hr excursion. As a young family of 4 with 2 girls under the age of 7, it couldn’t have been easier and without any stress from start to finish. Great job to the entire staff- highly recommend if you’re in the Destin area, family trip or not!

So thankful for the accomodations the day of for a trip out to Crab Island with Riley. Our kids had a blast snorkeling, using SUP, and the water mat. Riley was great with the kids and answering all our son's questions about marine life and letting kids get behind the wheel a bit. On our return we saw several dolphins which was magical and I loved we could connect our own music to Bluetooth. Highly recommend if looking for a private family adventure.

Captain Wendi is the absolute BEST! This is our second time with her as our captain. She has been able to find us dolphins both times. Crab Island had so many jellyfish and she had been stung several times the day before so she took us a mile over to where there were zero! We will book with her every year we come here and refer her to all our family/friends. If I could give her 10 stars I would!!! Definitely book with Capt Wendi you won’t regret it!!

These cruises are so much fun to do when you are in Destin. The captains are so nice and have amazing hospitality. I’ve booked there cruises more than once and I would definitely do it again next time I’m in town. It’s also an amazing family activity and very kid friendly as well. When I went on my cruise they had many fun things on crab island. And with the boat going to Crab Island you get to go and find dolphins and find them almost every time you are out there. I had captain Madison when we went out on the water and she so amazing to be around and super good with friends and family. It was so much fun and would definitely do it again!!!!

Captain Madison was great. Perfect trip to crab island. Incredibly clear water. We saw dolphins drove around harbor. Felt comfortable and safe. Inflatable floating mat was great to lounge on. Trip includes some of the best parts of Destin.

Wendy was amazing!! Would give more stars if I could! She is the captain to book if you have small kids! The hour and a half sunset cruise is the perfect amount of time. It was beautiful!

Absolutely phenomenal experience today on our boat cruise with Crab Island Adventures! Capt. Madison was so kind and helpful - we had the most fun and relaxing day. With a big inflatable mat, huge cooler with ice, and a pump to blow up other floats, we had all we needed to have a truly great day on the water at Crab Island. 10/10, would highly recommend!

Our time out at Crab Island was the highlight of our most recent family trip to Destin. If you’re thinking about booking, stop thinking and just do it!

I want to highlight the captain, Riley! He’s a Destin local and is seriously connected, lol! He knew just about everyone in passing and was able to point us in the direction of delicious food. His tastebuds were aligned with ours it turns out because his number one recommendation, Harry T’s, was our favorite meal while there. He also gave us great tips about the area and when to come back for perfect weather.

He was professional, but also likable. We were asking around for the dock (it was near the beignet shack) he just happened to hear us and jumped up to wave us down. Picture directions are provided via email before hand, but there are quite a few boats once you get down there. He greeted us, loaded up our items and suggested we grab a bite to eat, a drink, and use the bathrooms before heading out since we arrived early— which I highly recommend if you’re new to this or have small kids. It’s recommended to Uber, but we have car seats so I took my chances and the parking lot was wide open the day after Easter.

Bring food, bring water, bring alcohol 😁, bring SPF, and bring a charged phone to connect to Bluetooth. There is some shade on the boat, if that what you prefer as well.

Riley was excellent with our small children and overall provided top tier service. We are hoping to come back this summer and book with him.
