Love this place! I did 4 years of undergrad at UCF and never fully utilized this amazing nature preserve until years later. Really great nature trails that are well marked with beginner, intermediate, etc. It is a great place to bring the dogs and family for a nice picnic by the lake or hike in the woods. Also seems like it has great off-road bike trails! I don't bike myself but I see jumps and things all around and it looks challenging. Highly recommend overall and a great way to spend a nice day on the weekend.

A slice of paradise nestled inside UCF, the Arboretum provides natural opportunities throughout the eastern part of campus. Lots of trails throughout, recently it seems to be not maintained as well, the grass is incredibly long on some portions, even at entrances. However there is lots of natural beauty and typically not crowded at all even while the semester is in session. Its a great quiet place to go for a walk or run, feels pretty safe but watch out for wildlife just in case.
Free admission, usually paid parking. Garage C is closest to the entrance. The softball lot provides direct access to trails. Parking pass required in those areas.
Check game day schedule and addition arena event dates before going, parking limited and lots of traffic on game days/concerts

It was really hot out, but it’s a lovely walk. Wild flowers galore! Walk the perimeter and cut through little by little, so you take it all in and can log more miles. It’s wet in the southeast part. There are MTB trails here too. I didn’t see a soul until I crossed one person coming in literally on my way out. Perfect! 🙌🏼🥾💚🌳🌲

A nice little trail on the UCF campus that is open to the public, year round. I believe it's 1.2 miles around with a single track mtn bike loop where a helmet is needed. Saw a few birds along the way. There are plenty of picnic tables around if you want to bring lunch.

Beautiful place. Lovely trails. Went with my friend and accidentally walked 6 miles. Would do it again and will do it again.

Nice spot for a little trail preschool aged kids could manage. They especially enjoyed the boardwalk and it was nice and shady in there.

See the website for parking instructions which is on the grass and don’t forget bug spray!

Very pretty park with various walking trails and benches around the lake to relax by. The sandy trails are sometimes a pain to walk on, but overall nice and well kept
