Nice central location for the area. The staff here is all friendly in the breakfast is always hot and warm when I go down in the morning. The hotel is clean. My room is clean. It’s got some age and some things are looking a little rundown, which is why I gave it four stars as it could use some love, especially on the paint, the outside, and the lighting fixtures. Also, the beds are memory foam, which is not very comfortable, but other than that all in all this has been a good stay and I would come back here.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. We arrived a little early and were allowed to go ahead and check in. The hotel is right off the interstate, but it is really quiet. There are lots of restaurants and shopping around the hotel. The ac kept our room very cold, and it ran quietly. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hanging space and drawers for clothes, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, ironing board, safe, Dove lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We had a problem with our tv not working so we calked down and they sent someone up to fix it. He was very nice and knew exactly what was wrong with it. It literally took him under a minute to get it to work. They also have free breakfast, which included pancakes, muffins, toast, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc. The pool is a little small, but really nice tables, lounge chairs, and umbrellas. I would highly recommend staying here.

This place is gross, the hallways smell like the hurricane ran through. I don’t know if it’s mildew or mold, the hallway needs help for sure.

Black spots and stains on the bed sheets.. dude in the front desk was surprisingly very nice, he gave me new sets of sheets and offered to change our room.

I’m not picky but inhaling mold/mildew and dirty sheets is a deal breaker for me. We won’t be back.

Hotel was great. Very clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was good. The reason for 2 stars is because they stole $200 from my bank account. Upon checking out, I noticed there was $200 pending in my account from holiday inn express. I called to see what that was about and they said there was cigarette smoke and cigarette butts all over the room. That is demonstrably false. I have not nor will not smoke cigarettes in a hotel room, especially when I have my wife and 5 year old grandson with me. They offered no proof of anything, just said thats what they saw and took $200 from me. All in all we had a great experience at this hotel, but before you check out, I would highly suggest getting a staff member to look at the room before you go. It might save you $200

Nice hotel we stopped by for a night. clean rooms and friendly staff. hotel is a little on the dated side from how the carpeting and furniture look. still overall a comfortable stay. breakfast was also a plus.

My husband and I booked this place because we planned on going to the USS Alabama memorial, which is a 10 to 15 minute ride over the bridge. Hotel is so clean and staff are very friendly. It is also located in what I consider a very safe neighborhood with various shops and restaurants across the street. Even though it is near I-10, we heard no traffic noise at all. The beds, pillows and linens were soft and fluffy and we experienced two excellent nights of shut-eye (severe thunderstorm/tornado warning notwithstanding). There really were no negatives about this hotel.

Hotel seems to be a bit older but in good working condition none the less. Prices were sufficient. Cleanliness was by far outstanding. All of the housekeepers had good attitudes and were very friendly. I was greeted on the elevator by a young woman, Amanda or Mandy? She is over the housekeeping department and was very knowledgeable about the area, attractions and eatrrys. I proceed to tell her that her housekeepers are doing a swell job because the room was spotless she proceed to tell me that she couldn't do it without her team. Now that's what you call dedication. We will definitely be staying here again.
