Samantha was nothing short of incredible. She ran our 6/4 wedding at Greenville Country Club and when I tell you she could have done it with her eyes closed and still executed it flawlessly, I mean it.

Wedding planners are needed in three stages: long term planning, 1-2 month out planning, and week/day of planning, and Samantha did it all seamlessly.

For our long term planning, she had all of the recommendations for all of the vendors - we went with as many vendors that she recommended as we could (out of those that were available) and they were all amazing, just like she said they would be. She took time out of her schedule to tour rehearsal dinner spaces and wedding venues with us, telling us the pros and cons of each one and how the logistics would work there. It was incredible to have someone with that much knowledge already considering the details of our family dynamics and number of guests in the venue considerations.

For the 1-2 month out planning, she knows her stuff inside and out and all of the little details that brides normally worry about, I did not lose a single minute of sleep over because Samantha handled everything. From menus and print-outs, to logistics, to welcome bags, she handled all of the last minute, small items that make a wedding great, but that I did not have time to cover. She reaches out when she has a question but otherwise takes over where she knows she can handle it within the scope of your vision.

For day-of she is a force - she knows who needs instructions, where they need to go, and when we had a little challenge with the logistics of the shuttles, she was all over it, spending all day making sure the issue was resolved. From fluffing my train to getting an extra shuttle from a hotel we weren't even staying at to make up for a last minute cancellation, she was amazing.

Outside of all of the planning, she is easily reachable, and so knowledgeable and reasonably priced for the service you receive. Seriously cannot recommend Samantha and her team enough.

Samantha and her team helped plan and flawlessly execute a wedding for me 3 years ago. She is the best! She helped everything run smoothly. She kept us on track and kept everyone on schedule. She helped with every little detail! She was able to help me organize my thoughts and ideas and make them happen. She was always quick to respond and was very reliable. Secretariat is wonderful! Samantha and her team helped to make both of my daughters' weddings perfect and stress free. Samantha is completely professional, and her experience is invaluable in dealing with vendors, pulling an event together and tending to every detail. Samantha allows for great flexibility in that she will do it all (literally) or her clients can pick and choose 'a la carte' services. I highly recommend Secretariat for any wedding or special event!

I have used Samantha for both of my daughter's weddings. Can't imagine having done this without her expertise. She is on top of everything and is so well organized.....I honestly don't know how she does it. She took away every bit of pressure on me trying to remember everything that had to be done AND she was very patient as well. She's hands on for the wedding day to be sure everything runs smoothly...and both of our weddings couldn't have gone better.

Secretariat is the firm hired for one of my clients to assist in the planning and coordination of an annual non-profit black tie Ball in New York City. Samantha Harris and her “A-Team” as we call them (Alex and Andrea) work tirelessly to manage a flawless event overseeing multiple vendors and elements.
