The hotel needs to be updated. It's in a great location and their shuttle service is excellent. The bed was comfortable but no one has ever vacuumed underneath it. We had the room with a walk-in shower and the curtain wasn't long enough to keep the water from spraying out under the curtain and onto the floor. The shower base is at an angle as well as the floor itself when you get out which makes it a little bit unsteady. The room was well equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, they also had glassware, forks, knives, toaster, things that you could use on a long term stay.

The pool was indoors and seem to be in good shape. They also have an on-site small convenience store area with some light snacks and foods. There's also coffee that is in that same room that is available for intake but it was terrible. That's another thing that needs to be updated.

Had a very pleasant stay in a clean, functional, and well-appointed Studio Suite. The front desk and cleaning staff were professional, helpful, and amicable. I viewed the fitness room and it was well maintained. Easy parking every time I returned. I have stayed in the past at nearby lodging options, and I thought this establishment was of comparatively excellent value and service.

Positive: Great to have extra space when traveling with a kid, and to have a separate bedroom! The kitchen was great with a small stove and dishwasher. Wish we had time to check out the pool and gym, both looked great. Negative: Wish there were sheets for the pull-out bed available without going back down to the lobby - I had mentioned we'd need it! Also the bodywash was empty in the shower and I was only able to get the bars of soap as a replacement - but these are very minor.

My family stayed here because of an early morning flight out of Bradley airport. The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful when I called and at check in. The hotel provides a shuttle to the airport as well as extended parking of your personal vehicle for $10 a day. We were very happy with this hotel and it's accommodations. The room rates are very reasonable. The only odd thing is this hotel doesn't have any rooms with 2 beds. But we had a 1 bedroom queen suite with a pullout sofa to sleep 4 people from my family in this room.

This property offers excellent value above and beyond its local competition. The rooms are more spacious, the beds are more comfortable and the laundry facilities are free. I would stay here again over any other property adjacent to the airport.

Garden Thyme

I have stayed here before and was happy but this trip that was not true. Lots of trash in the parking lot and front door area, dead plants in the pots by the front door, hair all over the bathroom floor, the wall thermostat did not work nor did the controls on the heating unit. There was no way to control the heat in the room. Then when I went to look for something in the kitchen area of the room I found a box of EGGOS in a random drawer with mold growing. Obviously they had been there for a bit. Very disappointed in my overall experience.

While I am not familiar with the area, I cannot comment on the safety of guest. I didn't have anything going on in the immediate area. I booked the hotel for something that was a little further away. However, it was definitely rundown. The lobby was the most updated thing I've seen When we walked into our room first of all the gaps in the doors were horrific as they created a wind tunnel that kept the door banging all night, even though it was locked, the curtains were disgustingly, yellow, sheer, and not white sheer as they were full of smoke and you could smell it all through the room. The bed was comfortable. It just gave an overall feeling of dingy old yuck. I definitely wouldn't stay here again. I haven't seen a candlewood hotel like this ever and I'm glad I haven't would never recommend them if I had. As they are one of my favorite places to stay not this time. Very unhappy. Glad my night was free because I would not have paid for this. I would have walked out.

I really enjoyed our stay here, we were welcomed warmly and accommodated promptly. I liked our room, it was spacious and had all the necessities of soaps, sweeteners and clean towels. The front dest clerk was helpful and engaging.
