I'm currently on tour with 8 female performers. Our bus unfortunately had issues (currently uninsured) just outside of the berkshires. After getting back on the road again we were quite worn out from the cold. Since we had to put a good amount of money in to the bus, our budget remains limited for the rest of our tour. Ownership warmly welcomed us and helped us with our luggage. Upon checking in to our single room with 2 double beds our head dancer (Priscilla) was attacked by a feral coyote that somehow had made it in through the bathroom window. She is currently being treated at Torrington hospital (conveniently located near by) and is stable. The owner generously gave us 50% on the room due to this minor occurrence. The hotel has all the amenities and beyond. To help us save us additional money the owner allowed us (9 ppl total) to stay together in a double bed room with a small kitchenette. Late checkout available. Thank you!

Ok so I rent a room for 400 a week an they decide they wanna move me to do construction. Like you money hungry people. Being loud throughout the day disturbing me an my spouse. I'm very irritated at Royal inn. I'm never coming here again. I found so many other places but I didn't decide on the place to go. My spouse chose this. I didn't know it would be such an inconvenience. People don't waste yo money here.

My partner and I rented out a room for a week. They chose to do construction whilst the rooms were rented. No one was ever at the front desk. 0/10 would NOT recommend. Terrible service, disgusting rooms. Loud people and workers.

This place was Old and needs a lot of work. I'm allergic to smoke but the people upstairs smoked so much it backed up filled our bathroom and room to the point I spent some of our stay wearing a mask. This place is barely passable. A lot of down on their luck people live there. Lady at desk was nice, bed was pretty good. Couch in room 15 is disgusting and not usable. Bedding was Old we had our own bedding and pillows. Very little choice in hotels but after sticking it out for 6 nights we will not repeat the mistake again. Once the room is paid for no return of your money if you choose to leave.

After searching for affordable pet friendly motels in the area we found this place and was quoted on the telephone 60 among other perks and promises. When we arrived, the outside windows were broken and inside awaited an overly polite couple with a lobby full of a pungent alcohol odor. Not only did they charge us 20 extra per room per night (because only the high end rooms were available) which they never informed us of on the phone,and we were informed we would not be provided with keys due to ongoing power failures.It was late so we agreed and were shown our rooms. Upon inspection of all 3 rooms we were so discusted e.g. stains all over carpets,mold and mildew throughout the toilet and shower, a indistinquishable foul odor, no hot water, stained pillows, burn holes in the sheets, stained blankets, garbage in the drawers, etc. we placed a call to the number on the internet but was told to talk to the front desk. My children and I were gone the next morning after cold showers,a lecture about the kids making faces or gestures in their cameras?!, and no internet access. (We were told and given high speed internet access and passwords that never connected). My neice and her family had already paid for 3 nights and was told there are no refunds when she asked for a refund because she changed her mind after finding bite marks all over her 4 year old son. We came to pick them up upon check out and parked across the road because you are not allowed to have visitors in this motel. We hadn't finished packing my truck yet when the man came stumbling out yelling that we were littering and cursing at us and threatened us with the police. Why? No clue. We tried to get video but as soon as he saw us recording he ran back in the building. We promptly and happily left this horrible experience behind us. Please....BEWARE!!

I have a family member who stayed here. Place is so nasty. Smells of mold as soon as u walk in 300 a week. They never cleaned her room floors r gross pretty sure she had black mold in the room. I would rather sleep outside in the park than here its cleaner. Her room door didnt even lock. Do not stay here it is a dump. Some parts of the hall have the liner the put under the carpet but no carpet.
