July 1st morning trip did not disappoint. Captain Mike and First Mate Derryl are first class. Myself and my 12 year old son had a blast. Had to deal with some choppy water to get to the fish but was totally worth it. After an hour or so had more porgy than we could eat. Moved onto calmer waters to try for other species. Caught some black Sea bass, a small shark and a mackerel. Learned a lot about the area, the fish, and had a lot of laughs with the captain and first mate.

We had an absolute blast with Captain Mike and his first mate Derryl today for my birthday. It was our first time out on a fishing charter and I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! Fishing was a breeze with all the high tech equipment on board and the best duo that worked so hard to get us where the fish were and help us get fish on! They were so fun to work with, very knowledgeable and gave us a ton of information on the area, what we were fishing for and how we were doing it. We were very successful for porgi, and got bonus catches of a shark and skate! If you’re itching to try this experience for yourself, Captain Mike’s is the way to go!

We (1 adult, 2 teenage boys) went out with Captain Mike in July 2024. It was our first ocean fishing experience and it was outstanding. We fished The Race and Bartlett Reef. Not much action at The Race so Captain Mike moved us to Bartlett Reef where we were able to catch a ton of fish. Captain Mike was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with and we will definitely consider working with him in the future.

Great time fishing with captain Mike and first mate Derryl! Very knowledgeable and easy going. It was a beautiful day out at sea. We caught over 10 fish including 4 keepers we had Derryl filet up for us to take home!

What a wonderful day at sea with Captin Mike!! We brought the kiddos for a fishing trip and it did not disappoint (even got to see 100s of dolphins). It was catch after catch! He was wonderful with the kids and let them be ver hands on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We will definitely be back for another trip out to sea!

We found Captain Mike on a whim while passing through CT. And we are so glad we did. We wanted to take our 13yo son out to fish. Captain Mike was amazing. He got us on the fish and my son pulled up different species of fish (striper, porgy, fluke, sea bass). Captain Mike is professional and personable, asking us questions about us, telling us a little about him and the area. I can not praise him enough. We loved it so much we are planning a trip to go out with Captain Mike in the fall. He is simply amazing!
