After returning from our Honeymoon in Italy, my husband Kris and I reflected on how truly blessed we are to have worked with Rene to build our dream honeymoon! It was perfectly tailored to how we wanted to feel, what we wanted to experience and explore and Rene helped thoughtfully execute every piece seamlessly! She took the time to talk with us via Zoom and phone, to understand what our goals were, and had an awesome app where our itinerary and agenda were organized w/ flight/ ticket information, contacts, addresses etc, which made it easy to grab info quickly and move to our next destination! Beyond making our vacation logistically easy, the accommodations Rene suggested were beyond what we could have ever imagined! The service at both Mormoria in Tuscany and at Ciasa Salares in the Dolomites, as well as Refugio Gardenacia, were impeccable! The food was delicious, the people were welcoming and the experience was top notch! We couldn’t have found these true gems without the experience, expertise and thoughtfulness of Rene, and we are truly grateful. We recommend Rene and Grand Explorations, and shout it from the top of the Italian Dolomites! A sincere Thank You to Rene for all that she did to help us have the honeymoon of our dreams!!!

We hired Rene to help plan a trip to Belize. We basically paid her a few hundred dollars to act as a broker to a different travel agency.

We had several issues with the hotel that were never corrected and an issue with an incorrectly booked tour that ended up wasting a day of our vacation. Rene sent one brief response to our issues that she was sure the agency would figure it out, and even when they couldn't, that was the last we heard from her.

Using Grand Explorations was a big disappointment and we should have just booked our trip on our own.

EDIT: I provided this same feedback through Rene's internal portal weeks prior to posting a public review and received no response or communication from her, so her request to discuss improvements seems disingenuous at best.

Words can't explain how thankful we are for Rene. Without her there is no way we would have had the amazing trip that we had. Rene was referred to us from a friend and she truly helped us through out every stage of planning our Honeymoon. We came to Rene with many ideas, she listened and took those ideas and found 5 great locations for us to choose from. We decided to go with the Conrad Bora Bora and we are so happy we did! Rene made sure our trip was high class from the moment we arrived at the airport. The attention to detail and the app with our full itinerary was very helpful. We can't thank Rene enough, we will definitely use her for our future vacations and will continue to refer her to friends. Thank you Rene for helping make sure we had the best Honeymoon!

Rene at Grand Explorations is awesome! I worked with her to plan a 2-week trip to Italy, which was my first trip to Europe. She put together an amazing itinerary that took into consideration the places that I wanted to visit and the types of experiences I wanted to have. I didn't feel like it was a generic plan, I felt like she listened to me and what I wanted. The hotels were all very nice and in great locations, and a highlight of the trip was my guided hike of the Path of Gods. I highly recommend Rene for all of your travel plans.

My husband and I recently worked with Rene to plan our honeymoon to Paris, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen. In the midst of planning a wedding, the last thing we wanted to do was try to figure out where to stay and what to do in each city. Luckily Rene stepped in and seamlessly planned the most amazing trip! With some basic guidance on what we enjoy and wanted to experience, Rene booked hotels in amazing neighborhoods, tours that helped us get a feel for the local experience in each city, and took any stress of planning such a big trip off of our plates. Everything ran seamlessly, but it was comforting to know that if we did encounter any hiccups we knew where to turn for help. This was our first time using a service like this, but it will definitely not be the last!

We hired Rene to plan our 2 week honeymoon to the Greek Islands and Amalfi coast, May/June of 2023. We felt that Rene really captured our wish list, understood what we were hoping for (and looking to avoid) and prepared an extremely comprehensive and thorough itinerary. Once approved, Rene did all of the work booking, coordinating, providing packing lists and more! All we did was show up and without pause, everything ran according to plan. The excursions were so much fun, so personal and unique, really giving us that "do as the locals do" experience wherever we traveled. She chose amazing accommodations, arranged private transfers, booked flights and ferries and even sent restaurant recommendations. Trip of a life time! I will absolutely hire Rene for our next vacation.

Rene made sure our trip was flawless start to finish. My biggest fear when traveling is showing up to a location that is not as nice as it was advertised online. The opposite happened on this trip where the location (Grand Cayman,) the hotel (GC Marriott,) and all other aspects of the trip exceeded expectations. Rene helped us plan a trip that was relaxing, fun, luxurious, and within budget. I would recommend Rene to anyone looking to plan a getaway and look forward to working with her again in the future.
