I'm sorry but this place is a total dump. i was invited on a trip on my friend's boat and I had to use the rest room. It was gross and the toilet was so small I couldn't use it and it was covered in pubic hair. The parking lot is also covered in huge rocks. There was also no parking.

This is not really a marina - more of a rough gravel parking lot on the water with an early 1970s travel lift that can only launch shallow draft boats at high tide. The cost of temporary yard storage is ridiculous ( about a dollar per foot per day) considering the amenities amount to little more than a couple of porta-potties. There's really no office - the owner pretty much works out of his pickup truck and nothing seems to be done in writing - all verbal and all very changeable depending on the owner's mood. Don't know what the place was like under past ownership beyond the obvious shallow water problems. But at the present time, it ranks very high on the sketchy scale.

My wife and I kept our boat here when we first made the decision to get a slip (up until then we had trailered). This place has been around forever and is like a well worn pair of Sperry top siders. The prices are reasonable and you wont find all the fancy amenities at some of the other marinas in the area, but without a doubt the people are what make this place great. Check your ego, pomp, and circumstance at the door (or go somewhere else). The new operator, Tim, has been putting a lot of work into the place. He's also a local oyster farmer. Marker 7 is a great place to keep your boat!

my son had a blast fishing off the pier. He caught a stripper and a few sea Robins and a bunch of crabs. While I relaxed until the sunset took my breath away.
