It's hard to put into words just how incredible our wedding day on July 5th was, and we owe so much of it to Kayla. The journey to our wedding was filled with unexpected challenges. Shortly after our engagement in January, my Fiancés soul dog, Huck, was diagnosed with cancer. Caring for him became our priority, leaving little time or energy for wedding planning.

Our friends introduced us to Kayla, and everything changed. Kayla took us under her wing, turning what felt like an impossible situation into a dream come true. For context, we were planning a small wedding in Telluride so it was a bit of a destination wedding, with no "venue" for a ceremony, only reception.

Kayla’s ability to coordinate vendors and orchestrate every detail was nothing short of magical. The night before the wedding, we scoped out the ceremony spot (literally a longitude and latitude spot on lizard head pass), giving her almost no time to prepare, but she made it happen flawlessly. She transformed our reception in Mountain Village into something out of a fairytale, creating an intimate and breathtaking celebration for our small group of guests.

Two weeks before the wedding, we had to make the heart-wrenching decision to put Huck down. During this incredibly difficult time, Kayla took charge, allowing us the space to grieve. Her dedication and compassion were evident in every aspect of our wedding day. Our guests were in awe and said it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended.

We are forever grateful to Kayla and her family for their personal sacrifices they made to give us our Best Day Ever. Her unwavering support and expertise turned our challenges into an unforgettable celebration, and we couldn't have asked for anything more perfect.

Kayla is the best! She was so helpful in every aspect of our wedding! She was quick to respond and had an answer for everything. She helped keep me so organized. We were also able to rent majority of our decor from her, which was so helpful. The day of the wedding she was a rockstar. We had some change of plans due to weather and she was able keep things going smoothly. We couldn’t have done it without her. Thank you, Kayla!! It truly was the best day ever!

AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER!! Hiring her led to the most stressful experience of my life. The night before my rehearsal, Kayla told me that she could no longer go to my wedding because she could not find a babysitter. Thus, I had to run my own rehearsal! She told me she would be sending an employee of Best Day Ever and then sent her mother as the day-of coordinator. Her mother had no experience running a wedding and unfortunately, it showed. My wedding was certainly not the best day ever. Her mother did not decorate the tables as had been discussed with Kayla and as pictures had shown. She did not get the wedding started on time, and therefore, the responsibility to begin the ceremony fell on my groom. When we entered the reception, I noticed that none of the name tags were at the guests' seats. So during my own reception, as the bride, I had to hunt down the name tags and place them all myself! She also failed to put my cake in the cooling box, and so my beautiful tiered cake melted! We missed out on our cake cutting moment, which was honestly one of my most important things to me. And she didn’t even try to fix the cake. My own mom and a few other guests missed the speeches because they had to help! Then, throughout the night, I had to constantly ask for the time from people to make sure we were sticking to the schedule. After all this, Kayla has NEVER once apologized. I’m just so shocked and disheartened with the way things turned out. She has shown me no sympathy and is unwilling to even discuss refunding us. Hiring Kayla would be the worst decision you could make for your own wedding. She doesn’t care about her clients. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Your careful planning and attention to the decor and timeline, the special care you gave all our vendors (and the grace you showed under pressure throughout the hours and minutes as they all showed up to do their jobs), and most especially the way you took care of us, the kids, our wedding party, and even our parents was so outstanding and so professional! Even your handling of our rehearsal and the entire ceremony was flawless! WOW! HOW DO YOU THINK OF EVERYTHING!?

One more thing - the darling set up in the bridal suite was joyous and made any butterflies I had go away! Every little thing you put your heart and soul in to was memorable and we felt so incredibly blessed to be your clients.

Lastly, from the bottom of my heart I thank you for the planning days and weeks (and months!) before the wedding - you made the planning process easy, thorough, with no stone left unturned! Your vendor recommendations, your communication with/between me and them, and the problem solving you performed as they popped up was so very impressive!

AND, the time and care you gave me even when I felt a little wacky were so needed in those times when I was overwhelmed or even overly giddy with excitement!

We just cannot thank you enough. I said there were no words and yet, recalling the weekend we spent with you was so beautiful that the words just came easily. We appreciate you, Kayla!

Stop looking for other event planning services, Kayla is the best you will find. My wife and I booked Best Day Ever for our wedding and they executed what can only be described as our dream wedding. In regards to planning, Kayla was consistent, available, and punctual when it came to communication, setting up meetings, and answering questions. Her experience was evident in every interaction we had with her, she had excellent suggestions and ideas on how to turn our ideal wedding into reality, and did a fantastic job taking care of every aspect of the planning process. When it came to the day of the wedding, Kayla was similarly incredible. Her personality and energy are radiant (which really helped with our nerves), she was an impeccable team leader when it came to coordinating with our vendors, and was always present to attend to our needs and keep us on schedule without being overbearing. It truly felt like she was part of our wedding instead of just planning/coordinating it, and it couldnt have been the perfect experience it was without her. I simply cannot say enough good things about Best Day Ever.

P.s. They also have a great network of vendors they've worked with in the past, which made deciding who to use for photography, music, and catering a breeze.

Kayla was the MVP of the entire wedding. I did my own flower arrangements, and she designed the tables better than any florist could ever imagine. She also coordinated everything perfectly with all the other vendors and if there were any issues she was able to quickly fix them. She was so prepared she even had deodorant on- hand and safety pins to fix a guest dress that danced too hard. She ensured that the Groom and I both ate and helped me go to the restroom. She went above and beyond, she also was so kind and professional, you felt like she could be your best friend. She not only was amazing the day of but also the weeks prior to the wedding she was helpful. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to make your wedding day perfect. She is really the best.
