Bobby was the best guide ever. It was my wife, me and 19 year old son.He explained everything very precisely and he took many photos of us. He also took us to places that were truly amazing well off the groomed area. I only wish I booked more time. He truly knows what he is doing. And I highly recommend Bobby and Colorado adventure

We had an incredible experience with Action Adventures Snowmobiling and our guide, Drew H., on the “Top of the Rockies Guided Snowmobile Tour” in Crested Butte, Colorado! From start to finish, everything was top-notch, it was a great way to spend Christmas morning. Drew was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the area. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the snowmobiling itself was thrilling. The tour took us to some amazing spots, and we felt completely safe and well taken care of the entire time. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Crested Butte! It’s an unforgettable experience that’s worth every minute! Five stars all the way!

This was our first time to Crested Butte, and we had always wanted to try snowmobiling. This was the BEST experience and worth the cost for sure. The backcountry is beautiful, our guide was fantastic, and we will definitely do it again.

Our snowmobile adventure with Bobby was the highlight of our Colorado vacation! We had an absolute blast!! Being from GA, we’d never seen this much snow, never used a snowmobile, and had also never faced cold temps like we had this day, but Action Adventures did a great job of meeting every need we had. They had plenty of suits and boots that kept us warm, plus the snowmobiles had heated handlebars! They also trained us well on how to handle the machines, so it was fairly easy to learn to ride. The ride was amazing! I enjoyed every second of this experience.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!!! I signed up for the top of the Rockies tour which is described as “The perfect blend of nicely groomed forest service roads, some powder riding in large open meadows, rolling hills, trail riding, and very scenic views. Our Top Of The Rockies Tour is by far Crested Buttes' most popular snowmobile excursion.” I would not describe a 20 foot drop at a 50 degree angle as rolling hills. The guide took us down this drop twice and then another similar drop. We fell off the snowmobile and it rolled on top of us, I have bruises on my leg, my daughter has a hurt knee and now they want to charge us for “damage” to the machine after we followed the guides directions. Completely irresponsible. It was terrifying and not what we wanted to do for our day. The kids are now traumatized and never want to ride snowmobiles again. I would never go through this tour company again.

Had a great experience with Mark on the Top of the Rockies tour. Appreciated the reasonable prices for rental equipment (boots, googles, etc) and the easy online booking and waiver signing. Would do another tour with this company. Highly recommend.

Had the best time with these guys. Our guide Kyle, had our son with him and didn't disappoint. You are taught the basics initially and are given reminders as you go. The scenery is intense. A must do for all ages. They can supply boots, helmets and goggles to borrow. So much fun. Thanks for great memories!

2022: Did 11am tour with Mike and had a great time. Covered new trails, new places and views. Cant ask for a better family experience. Year #3 for us. Cant wait to return!
