Beautiful, peaceful, lots of seating along the way with amazing views. Not all seating is quite child friendly as the some benches are right on the edges of the cliff. Always bring water and protein type snacks. Dress accordingly, I thought I'd be okay, but the wind was pretty wicked up there when I went. You get a great view of the royal gorge train ride as well! Enjoy!

Top notch views of the Arkansas river, while hiking an easy family friendly trail. Dogs on leash are allowed. The views of the tunnels are absolutely stunning. Photo ops are plenty! The mountain wind that flows through the long tunnel is pure perfection. If I could trap the feeling in a jar forever I would. Other-worldly beauty. Free to enter.

A beautiful 4 mile total hike! Tunnels are quite amazing, with great views, view of the gorge, benches, and even an outdoor table to sit and read, have lunch, or meditate. Be sure to bring water and be aware that it is a falling rock area. Will definitely be going back!

Great easy out and back hike with beautiful views. The first .33 mile you go up and then through the tunnels. But the whole hike is so pretty and the Royal Gorge Rail tour goes right by.

Two miles of zen. Great for walking, jogging, or biking--also connects to the series of gorge trails. Wish this was in our backyard!

I’ve hiked this a few times with different people and the group consensus everytime is we love it! Minimal shade so time your hike and bring sunscreen and water. Great views, clean path, lots of space when passing others, and the tunnels are so fun to walk through

Once you go up the initial hill, this is a super flat trail. Lots of cactus and native plants! You get a nice view of the river as you walk and the caves are really cool. Besides the caves there is no shade so go early or bring lots of water and sunscreen.

This was an incredible trail! It's rated easy, and maybe locals have no trouble, but we got pretty winded climbing at the beginning. After getting up to the trail level, it was a very easy going trail. Definitely worth the views! Trail was dry and very well maintained. It was our favorite adventure of the day!
