So stoked on RMOC! I visit Buena Vista several times a year and every time I’m there RMOC is my go to for getting into some fun. I’ve rented surfboards, gone rafting and most recently took an avalanche course. The avalanche course was professional/well planned/thorough and fun. I learned so much in just two days. Thanks RMOC! I’ll see you soon and would recommend hitting them up if you’re going to be in the area and want to get into some fun.

The Intro to Backcountry and Avalanche Rescue courses went great and are very informative. Amazing winter venues off the continental divide and a very knowledgeable, safe staff. Highly recommend.

WOW! I love this company, & everything they stand for. Outdoor Adventures are one of lifes best things, and this team has created a vision and a company to share that with all ability levels, across lots of adventure sports. I am a lifelong snowboarder and love being in the outdoors. I have taken avalance courses in the past, and thought a refresher would be a great idea. I attended a back country avalance course @ RMOC and was so impressed. The instructor was an amazing guy, with lots of great experience, and really taught me a lot! It was suprising to learn so much. I had a false confidence that all my previous experience and exposure to so much snow gave me some perception of confidence that I knew what I was doing. Boy was I wrong. I really learned a lot, and came away with a new understanding and respect, (and appreciation) for mother nature and what we all can do to be smarter in the baccountry. I woudl reccomend this company for anyone who wants to support local, have a great adventure in the colorado outdoors, any season of the year. Defintely reccomend summer camping along the river with adventures scheduled daily!!

We were visiting friends near Denver, looking for a great outdoor activity. We decided to go white water rafting. We had a tough time finding availability as it was just after labor day. We landed on RMOC and we're glad we did.

We showed up and were introduced to Ryan, a 12 year veteran that got us fitted for wet suits, driven to the launch site, provided a full safety demonstration, and gave us an excellent ride down the river. Ryan provided good conversation and instruction. He even paused and let us jump off a rock and into the water. He took pictures for us and shared them with us at the end.

I can see us coming back in June when the water will be more challenging. ?

If you're thinking about visiting RMOC for anything, stop thinking about it, and just do it!! We had such an amazing time white water rafting but it wouldn't have been nearly as awesome without our guide, Brendan. He made the experience a lot more memorable and fun. He did a great job teaching us everything we needed to know to stay safe, was very knowledgeable about the rapids, had a lot of fun facts about the area, and was never short of well timed dad jokes.

If you go to ROMC you're gonna have a great time !

RMOC is the BEST! They have been my go-to for rafting, river surfing, SUP, kayak, ducky and camping adventures for years now. The staff is on point, very thorough and great with all ability levels. All of those experiences have been top notch and exceeded my groups expectations every time.

This past weekend a group of friends and I added another notch to the RMOC belt with the Recreational Avalanche Training course. We all gained so much valuable information and how to execute that knowledge in the field. It was a great way to get everyone aligned so that our future trips into the back country will be mindful with safe strategy. I would highly recommend this course to anyone with or without backcountry experience.

The Recreational Avalanche Training course with Brandon was awesome! I had some backcountry experience, but this course filled in a lot of blanks for me; I left the course feeling like I had a good foundation for more backcountry adventures and to be a better part of a team. Not to mention, we got to make some sweet turns!

Our family had an excellent rafting trip with Tyler as our guide. We did the beautiful Browns Cayon full day (bought a groupon) everything was included, lunch, wetsuits, splash jackets, helmets, and booties (very helpful)! We brought a gopro and RMOC even gave my son a helmet with that attached to it (we still bought the photo package they offered). Tyler was excellent and has over a decade of rafting experience and is super knowledge about the area. Despite having 2 in our group never been white water rafting before we always felt safe during the class II and III Browns canyon. We got to jump off a rock into the Arkansas river after lunch and hike a bit to some great overlooks.
Give these guys a call before booking online so they can guide you to the best rafting option and they can customize your experience to make it epic!
Bring water and sunscreen if you do the all day trip. Tip your guide!
They also have dog friendly camping available and their own beer garden.
