Royal Gorge Bridge & Park Via Ferrata - Cañon City, Colorado

Last month, my friends and I visited the Royal Gorge Bridge during a road trip, and it was a great experience! The bridge itself was impressive to see. We each paid $36 for the ticket, which included access to walk across the bridge as well as a ride on the gondola—though not the zipline. The gondola ride was thrilling, with just the right amount of excitement and a touch of fear, but we all enjoyed it. Walking across the bridge was also a memorable experience; after all, it’s one of the highest bridges in the U.S. Previously, you could drive over the bridge, but now it’s restricted to walking only, which gave us a new way to appreciate the view. We also found plenty of nearby restaurants to grab a bite afterward, which added to the overall experience. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it!

This is by far the coolest thing I’ve ever done!! Jeremy was a fantastic guide and made it a great experience. The only improvement I would recommend is providing more details in the confirmation email (multiple water bottles, clothing, etc). Jeremy had extra electrolyte packets which we really appreciated in the intense heat. We also really wanted to buy a t-shirt after accomplishing it, but they don’t sell them. We will definitely be back for the longer experience- maybe even trying the winter. I highly recommend!!

Beautiful views, very nice staff and the pricing is moderate. Definitely will return again and maybe do the zip line.

Worth the price the view is something you can’t beat it’s not that scary if it’s not windy but if it’s windy don’t go on the bridge or else it will shake a little bit but still it’s beautiful. If you want to look at some pictures I have them down below ⬇️

Very Cool spot to check out. Plan on doing some walking. Beautiful views. If you’re scared of heights this may not be for you but I would try it anyway. Gondala and zip line are available.

I recommend to take the trolley up and then walk down by the bridge

There is a tractor that has a seating pull cart with a cover if you don't walk very well and want to go ever the bridge that way included

Beautiful, scenic park with plenty of activities to do once inside. If you're a thrill seeker you can go zip lining, or ride this massive swing that looks like it's going to throw you off the edge of the gorge. The gondola was enough for me lol. Which is included with your pass to the park. Walking the bridge also gives you amazing views. A great overall experience that I'll always remember!

What a great experience…went Friday 8/23 with my 16 yr old nephew. Been in Colorado 22 years and this was one of the coolest things I’ve done. In fact it motivated me to start Rock Climbing which I did yesterday for first time. Allie, Nate and Jeremy were awesome!!! Went Thursday 8/22 and got rained out after doing a beginner course. Had us come back Friday for no extra charge and we had a blast!!! Very fair and accommodating. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a challenging activity in a beautiful setting!!!
