This was my first time heading out to the rockies and I did not have a lot of experience. I was pretty nervous about what to expect but Sharon was awesome. She let me know which hike was better for me never having hiked in Colorado. She was super knowledgeable, incredibly nice, and put up with all my nature questions lol. There were a lot. The hike was great. The area is so beautiful and got to see an Elk up close. This was my first solo trip and won’t be my last. Thanks to her awesome customer service I’ll be back to hike with her again next year. She gave me the courage I needed to start exploring. Thank you!

Immediately after I booked my hike, Sharon reached out and made herself available for any questions, concerns and discussed what I should be prepared to expect. I found FemmeTrek by luck on a google search and it was a lucky find. I am fit and can walk distances but don’t like heights and don’t know Estes Park at all. I did two hikes with Sharon as my guide and she was key to making them both safe and fun. I felt heard about my anxieties regarding the traverses and we went as far as I was able to go. I was then completely comfortable saying “I’m done”. Sharon celebrated my accomplishment as a huge achievement. Sharon is experienced, knowledgeable and calm. I can’t recommend hiking with Femmetrek enough - hiking where you can push yourself to the full extent of your capabilities- confident in the knowledge that Sharon knows how to guide you out on your hike and safely home again.

We did a survival skills training up in Rocky Mountain National Park and it was awesome! A great blend of activity and information. Sharon is really knowledgeable and had great answers to all our questions. I feel a lot more confident about doing some more intense hikes on my own or just generally dealing with an unexpected survival situation.

I booked 3 hikes with Sharon but only did two due to weather. This was disappointing initially but after talking with Sharon it made total sense, and I came to admire and appreciate her placing safety as a top priority.

Ouzel Falls and Lake Haiyaha are both such beautiful destinations through highly enjoyable trails. Learning from Sharon about plants, interesting rocks, landmarks really added to the overall experience. And we had so much fun taking photos.

Sharon was a bit uncertain about the amount of rock scrambling required to get to Lake H. I didn’t fully understand why until we got there. Again safety is always on her mind. Once I got over the initial shock scrambling on the rocks became kind of fun.

I had a bear encounter once and have ever since preferred not to hike alone in the mountains. I feel very fortunate to have found femmetrek which made hiking the Rocky Mountain National Park accessible to me. I am already plotting which trails to hike with Sharon on my next trip. 5 starts and highly recommend

I hiked to Chasm Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park with a Femme Trek guide in late September. What a magical day! I'm in my 70's and wouldn't have done this without a guide to show me the way. She was an experienced, informative woman who was great company for my adventure into the park. I highly recommend Femme Trek as a safe, enjoyable way to take on a challenge with a pro at your side.
