Fishing with Northern Colorado Fishing Outfitters was a great experience that was very informative. Jed was friendly and made it very easy to follow along and catch fish even though we were very inexperienced with fishing ourselves. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the sport. We couldn’t think of any question he didn’t know the answer to.

Our experience was out on Boyde Lake early in the morning. All we needed were proper fishing clothes, a cooler, and our licenses. When we booked our fishing charter originally we were given directions on where to find Jed as well. I’d like to emphasize that the whole process from booking to actually catching fish was very easy to follow along with. Overall we had a great time out on the water!

Had a half day guided tour with Jedd - his wealth of knowledge was phenomenal. He said he has a masters degree from CSU and any question we had about fishing, he had an answer for. He knows tons of baits, fishing tactics, where to go, what to do - everything you’d want in a guide. He had a nice double pop-up ice shanty with a heater and we were all very comfortable and didn’t even need gloves the entire time fishing. We weren’t getting many bites at the beginning and he kept changing out our bait to try new things and even stayed longer at the end because of it. We ended up catching about 7-8 fish, 4 keepers. He was just a really kind person and very passionate about his career. Whether you are local and want to learn some new skills or on vacation here, book a trip!

Jed was great! He went out of his way to go to a trophy trout lake that was further away than where he was the week I was in town. We took our time and he made sure I had a great experience! Those babies were delicious on the grill!

From start to finish the trip did not disappoint! I would say near constant action and multiple species of fish caught. I’ve been fishing my whole life and this one of the best fishing days I’ve ever had and easily the best guided trip I’ve ever been on. I could not recommend NOCO fishing outfitters with captain Jed any higher! Don’t look around to other places just book with Jed. The proof is in the pictures
