I HIGHLY recommend booking a trip with SkipTown! Riley was amazing to work with and planned us the most perfect getaway. We ended up in Savannah, Georgia, which is nowhere we would have thought of before, but it was beautiful and so much fun! She planned everything perfectly! Our flights and hotel were great, and she made us some wonderful reservations to the best restaurants, a walking food tour, a massage, and a trip to the beach. She left out no details and even gave us other recommendations on food, drinks, and things to do! It was like she personally knows us and the things we love to do on vacations! The surprise destination added to the fun, plus it was LOVELY to just show up and have your vacation planned and ready to go! If you’re on the fence about booking a surprise vacation, DO IT!! I used Skip Town to plan a getaway for my family of 4, and Riley did not disappoint! We had so much fun in Austin TX, from kayaking to see bats, to going to a local comedy club, to eating amazing food! The accommodations were great, not at all what I would have found on my own. Honestly it was so nice not to have to make any hard decisions for our trip, because she made the decisions for us we just went along for the ride. I would definitely use her again to plan a trip.

We used Skip Town for a surprise anniversary long weekend getaway. It was PERFECT. We make enough decisions in our everyday lives that giving up control for an adventure with my husband was just what we needed. We opened our envelope at the airport and embraced the whole process. Our weekend in Austin TX was so fun - they handled dinner reservations for 2 nights and tickets to a comedy show. We explored the rest of the time. It will be a tradition for us now - highly recommend!

My surprise trip was everything I hoped it would be! When I opened my envelope at the airport, I was so excited to learn I was headed to a warm sunny beach! One activity was planned out- and then a detailed daily itinerary came in my packet that offered the perfect amount of options for meals, shopping, and relaxation. A week before my trip, I received a detailed weather report so I would know what type of clothes to pack. Our SkipTown trip was really a surprise for my
husband for his birthday. We went to Myrtle Beach and it was what we needed - beach and fun, and disconnecting. Riley was great and so communicative and attentive in setting up our trip, and made sure to get us a great vacation within the budget chosen. Definitely will use SkipTown again and recommend it to anyone to try.

My husband and I are very big on traveling and with the pandemic happening in 2020 we were really itching to do something. We decided to purchase a Staycation box from SkipTown in order to have a fun quality date night and help us with the travel bug blues at the same time. Riley put together one of the most thought out boxes that I could have ever imagined. Our themed box included, drinks, a delicious recipe (so yum!), games, playlists, movie ideas and more! The games and conversation starters made me feel like we were back on a first or second date and getting to know each other, which was super refreshing and intentional. My Husband loved that we were both opening this box blindly since he’s usually the one surprising me. It was great being surprised together ☺️. Overall, this was a fun twist on a date night with a travel destination theme and I’m super happy we did it. I would definitely recommend checking out the other themed staycation boxes and using their services for a surprised travel getaway in the future as well!

This is my third interaction with SkipTown and every experience has been great! I got one of the STAYcation boxes for my mom for Christmas to replace our annual holiday trip (thanks, pandemic) and she loved it! She says:

“I loved the Sante Fe box I received as a SkipTown gift and I felt as if I got to “get away” to that magical town of Sante Fe.  It was a full experience and it had something for all of my senses – food items to make a wonderful meal, incense for my sense of smell, a painting kit for my eyes and creative mind, music for my ears, and a wonderful novel with the southwest as a setting!  It was all wonderful and it felt like as if it was put together just for me!  I loved it!”

I also ordered a box as an anniversary surprise for my boyfriend and we had a great time! The design and personal touches were super cute and we really enjoyed our Bozeman getaway (complete with s’mores and a pillow fort)!

All in all I’d highly recommend working with Riley on a surprise trip or STAYcation box. You’ll have a lot of fun!

I came across SkipTown on Instagram and thought it sounded like a fun idea! The element of surprise is awesome! Riley did an awesome job planning our trip and made it so easy to just sit back and enjoy the vacation! The personalized touches for my birthday were an added bonus.
