Stopped in to get a quick bite to eat. Has a great outdoor area with music and food and drink. Also has a concert hall on the other side of the restaurant. The food was very good, and we had the Jumbayla and Ceasars salad.

Staff was a little slow to get the lines moving (in), but in fairness I'm not familiar with their process. Inside the venue you'll find RIDICULOUSLY priced drinks (I don't drink but my wife does and I thought they charged me for 2 drinks lol, I clarified by saying I only ordered one and bartender said he knew and it was priced as such ).

Acoustics, the very reason you're there, were phenomenal. My size, experience, and background (law enforcement - high profile dignitaries personal protection) I wasn't worried for my safety but always scanning and admittedly judging venues in their ability to effectively handle an "incident" or problem so yea there I was judging....and I'll have to say I think they ARE prepared to handle any unruly intoxicated, ego-inflated 'issue.' They have plenty of staff and local police on-hand (probably working off duty security, which is good for both parties).

They will even tell you before you go in drinks are cheaper at The Deck, their outside bar located to the side or rather out back. Load your drinker up there first then get 1 inside if you must.

Good venue, safe, clean, rustic atmosphere, capable, and no problem to find.

Loved it my first time I went to the house of Blues in Myrtle Beach it was excellent It was a a tribute band to Elton John was fantastic The only thing I didn't like was that there was nowhere to sit down and not enough handicap singing or they wouldn't let you sit there. And it is very expensive but the drinks are good so I think they should lower the drink prices just a little. Everyone can have a great time. For families or singles for couples very romantic.

Last minute I joined some friends to see a Poison Tribute Band concert at H of B.
We sat out on "the deck" before the show. My friends enjoyed their pretzel and cookie apps. They said their alcoholic beverages were way too strong.
When we went inside for the music everything ran smoothly and security was good. The sound was great. We really enjoyed the show.

incredible dinner at House of Blues!!! everything was so so delicious. my absolute favorite was the voodoo shrimp. the jambalaya was delicious and perfectly spicy. bbq nachos with pulled pork fully loaded - yum! the gumbo - delicious. literally not one bad bite here!!! absolutely love!

Went to the deck for free live music on Friday night. Great band and good vibe. I would think the live music would do even better and bring in more business if done more frequently. Sad to see that you are closed Monday to Wednesday. We didn't dine in this time, only ordered some drinks, but the margarita was super sour though, so probably would not order again. Also sad to see the normal breakfast buffet is gone and only offering the Sunday Gospel Brunch at a much steeper price in comparison. I guess everyone had to adjust after COVID, but I miss the "old MB HOB," as that was a frequent experience while visiting with the family. The store seemed to have less selection than previous years. There were some of the same exact items for sale that I'd purchased over 5yrs ago. Maybe update some of the merchandise in stock? We will keep visiting because it isn't a trip to MB without a stop at HOB, but I wish you all continued growth and success as you adjust to the economy.

This place has an amazing appearance(as if you stepped back in time). My wife and I visited here on Sunday, 05/19/2024. The layout of this place is awesome. The restaurant is located on the right side of the facility. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and entertainment provided.

Such a great experience. The seafood boil was AMAZING! Lakeida our server was funny attentive and best part of the night aside from the music. If you’re in Myrtle Beach definitely take the time to eat at the House of Blues. We had a great time!!!
