Had an amazing day out with our resident angler Manny Pilas! He set us up for success and showed all 3 of us newbies exactly what to do. In the first 5 minutes in the water we caught two healthy trout! Can’t recommend Manny enough, cool dude, great hang and most importantly he knows his stuff! I had an amazing experience fishing with Bail Valley anglers. The experience was 10/10 from beginning to end. Kevin (guide) and I had an awesome day on the river and netted several good Browns. Having top notch guides is critical to running a successful guide service and my experience showed me that Vail Valley Anglers have the best! Kevin knew when to coach me and when to be patient with me. I will definitely be fishing with Vail Valley Anglers and Kevin again.

I had a 10/10 experience with Vail Valley Anglers this week! Our guide was Jim, and he did a fantastic job. I had never fly fished before, and he was extremely knowledgeable as well as patient with teaching me. He took the time necessary to guide us and make sure we had a great time while catching beautiful fish. We had so much fun, and I would highly recommend!

What a fantastic experience, Dan took my 13 y/o son on a memorable trip today! He was super patient with a couple newbies and was always positive, encouraging, and professional. We snagged a couple rainbow trout and wrestled with several got aways. I absolutely recommend Dan and Vail Valley Anglers to all ages of fly fishing adventurers!

Hands down the best summer outdoor experience we had on our family vacation - we rafted, ziplined, and did the gondola - all amazing, but this took the prize. None of us ever fished like this before, but Mark and Lyle made it "easy", informational, and must important.... fun. The guides picked us up at our resort, helped us with everything (paperwork, licenses, waders, etc etc etc.) - all the while they were pleasant, talkative, but never forced or awkward. They really made the experience what it was.

My daughter lives in Eagle we planned a trip to come out fishing so she hooked us up with Vail Valley anglers. We did a float trip all day down the Colorado. Our trip guide was Truett. Fantastic guide. This was my first drift fishing trip ever. I’ve been an avid fly fisherman for more than 40 years, but never took a drift trip. I can’t say enough about Vail Valley anglers they are fantastic the day before my trip I went in to BS with the guys for a couple hours. It was phenomenal. Their service is great. The shop is fantastic thank you again for a wonderful experience with my son, we caught plenty of trout more than 25 for the day couple nice nice fish. I’ll include photographs..

It doesn’t get any better than VVA. We have used many of their guides for family fishing trips, friends who have never fished before, float trips (it’s did one with Andy down the Colorado) and individual instruction etc (Tom is awesome). They all have been absolutely wonderful. The retail shop has just about anything you could ever want and they stand behind their product.
