We did the full day trip at bighorn. Our guide was Stone! He was amazing. We had our kids (8)(10) with my husband and I. They were beginners and nervous at first. He did a great job with us and got the kids so comfortable they were wanting even bigger:faster rapids by the end! Absolutely great trip, lunch provided was simple & yummy! 10/10 recommend…also free pictures were a plus!

Whitewater Adventure Outfitters was the perfect small locally owned company to get us safely down the river. This company gives you free pictures and supplies you with wetsuit or rain jackets if needed. Atticus was an excellent and knowledgeable river guide and we enjoyed rafting in his boat!!! Royal Gorge did not disappoint. It was beautiful. We highly recommend this company. We will be back for more adventures with them.

Overall, it is a good company; the most crucial aspect is your river guide and their experience and capability, and this company's guides seem better than average; Addison was excellent. The depot and gear are not shiny new, but the boats are the same as everyone else, and the gear works perfectly. Once you are on the river, all that matters is your guide and the raft, so from that perspective, this company exceeds the others. Bathrooms, changing rooms, and lockers are provided, along with a shop if you need essentials; everything was clean. Earlier in the season, it will be more fun and intense, whereas later in the season, in August, it will provide a calmer experience. After watching other companies on the river, I would go here again.

We did the Big Sheep Canyon tour. None of us had ever white water rafted! It was fantastic!!! It was level 1-3 and perfect for me who was nervous. Teens had a good time but want to do level 4-5 next time.
Stone was our guide and he was simply phenomenal!! He was great at directing us, was knowledgeable and friendly. If you go definitely ask for Stoke to be your guide!!

Phenomenal time! The weather in this part of CO is perfect for rafting. Having photos and wetsuits included was a wonderful touch. Our guide Woody had been rafting all over the world and we felt completely safe at high water. 10/10 recommend.

What a Blast! Our family did the 1/2 day Big Horn Sheep Canyon with Whitewater Adventure Outfitters and could not have had a better experience. They took care of us from the time we arrived till the time we finished. My 8 yr old was little nervous but, we had the best guide(JT) who made us feel safe, and also knew all the spot to get us splashed! Great company that we'll definitely use again.

As far as I know, they’re one of the only companies on the arkansas who gives pics for free.
