Great spot for sunsets! There was plenty of parking space on the side of the road when I went on a Sunday evening. You can check the view as soon as you get out of the car, or walk a few minutes further for a bit of a quieter setting.

Being from Upstate NY we also have mountains, trails, waterfalls, etc. Appreciate the outdoors wherever you are. This overlook area was absolutely magical and magnificent!!! I would definitely recommend this area 100%! I would suggest to update the stories on the podiums. They are definitely sun worn and a little hard to read. Thanks for the memories!

Great, short hike with great views. There is some graffiti along the way (towards the end) and some broken glass just before the main platform but largely a nice easy hike to a great view. The graffiti on the platform gave an interesting urban-in-nature vibe and felt relatively creative. That said, some of the other tags on the rocks felt like vandalism and likely a draw back for many.

Parking along the side of the road near the trail head, and then head up the fire road. It’s about 30-40 mins one way depending on your pace.

The trail is nice with enough places where you can walk in the shade. Just watch out for broken glass. For some reason too much broken glass on the trail. Other than that, the lookout is a great place to see the valley and the ocean from a single spot. There is no fee for entering, no restrooms. Parking is free and it's along the road.

Highly recommend- short (about an hour from beginning to end) but scenic and peaceful. The continuation after the first peak is the best part of the trail. Lovely brush to walk through until you reach the last plateau.

Take your friends, family or children with you for this one.

Always a great little hike w/ awesome views. The lookout is ~1¼ miles each way from parking on road, but a really easy walk on fire road. You'll come to a fork, stay to the left. If you pick the right weekend, you may also get a great espresso from Hänjay Café pop-up right at the trailhead (check their Instagram for dates).

This hiking trail offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and canyons and makes you feel like you're above the clouds. At the end of the trail, you'll be greeted with colorful graffiti that looks amazing with the natural view in the background.
