Security is fine but the overall loading process needs to be improved and don’t bother showing up early, you’ll be lucky if they bring you in at your appointment time. The point is they don’t care about a drivers time, they could less if you run out of hours or load you hours late, they are working on their own sweet time, whenever they feel like getting around to it. So if you come to pickup plan to pack a lunch and you might as well have your bed ready too because they will be in no hurry to get you loaded. They also have no bathroom facilities for the drivers sitting outside the facility waiting to be let in. Some customers respect and care about the driver, knowing that they are key to their business getting their product out to the customer but not here. Sadly take a number and wait is the philosophy here.

-Scale Tanker - push call box and give them truck info… send them the tube… they send you scale ticket
-Turn Right to go to your Bay
-Unhook Brake Line when instructed
After loaded
-go back to scale.. send up tube.. they give you a scale ticket
-Take that and your paperwork to the Shipping Office. They take a lab sample.
(How do you get to Shipping Office?…. Act like your passing the guard shack but instead of turning left to go to the scale, you will keep straight and its the building to the left that is lit up)
**must wear pants, long sleeve shirt, safety vest, hard hat and they give you a hair net
**they will prob let you overnight park in the staging area

This place has gotten so ridiculous with the rules I made a meme about them a few months back. And then, they still managed to go beyond ridiculous in the last few weeks. They now require hair and beard nets while outside your truck. That’s right, flies, bugs, dirt, and airborne pollution everywhere, but they’re concerned about a stray hair or two from my head ? for the record, as truckers, we never go inside any buildings, this is their outdoor policy. Nothing but straight up ball breaking here. Now I gotta update the meme.

6 times to interact with them. 1) check in at guard shack, 2) get weighed in, keep scale ticket, 3) go to loading, 4) after loaded go to scale again for loaded weight, 5) go to lab to get paperwork, give them scale tickets, 6) check out at guard shack. Not too bad but each section doesn't seem to know where to send you next. Other than that, great place easy maneuvering, nice people, and quick loading.

Great place to load! People that work here treat you with respect and are so nice. But one thing I might add is that the company I work for ALL our drivers show up on time at all times. There’s no reason we should be penalized for being on time for a pick up and all the late drivers VPT, Indian River drive in asap after they show up late. Penalize the late companies & reward the on times companies.
