Awesome place. The cabin cleaners are great. My wife and I happen to be some of the cleaners. We are A Guru Cleaning. Good food and great people. A must if you're in the area.

Love the place! Beautiful view of the river and spacious cabin. Great place for hikes, mountain biking, fishing, close to Pinecrest lake and Dodge Ridge skis resort.

Once a year, I get away with a group of ladies for a weekend of relaxation in the mountains. This is our first year staying at cabins at strawberry as a group. We loved it. I stayed here several times years ago when my children were little as well. It is a great place for families, girls weekends, couples etc. The cabins are very spacious, well equipped with wonderful kitchens, Beautiful Decks, flatscreen TV, ours had two bathrooms and three bedrooms which was very comfortable for six women. There were additional pull out couches available. Conveniently there is a bar and restaurant in the same driveway, and a general store across the street. You are only a couple of minutes down the highway from the beautiful Pinecrest Lake.

We stayed here last year which was the first time in these cabins. I've been coming to this area for the past 35 years and stayed at most of the resorts in the area and have rented private cabins. This seems to be the better value. The cabins here in Strawberry are clean, comfortable, they have all that we needed for the 10 day stay. BIG PLUS, is it's dog friendly. || The Stanislaus river is just below the cabin so it was a real treat hearing it rushing by. Pinecrest lake is just a mile up the Hwy. Great place for fishing and hiking and water play. No big boats are allowed. That in itself makes it just a bit more peaceful.

I first came here after one of many of PG&E's rolling blackouts. The cabins have a backup generator and wifi. I just wanted to be able to get work done and stay warm, but end up loving it so much! The river was right in front of my cabin, so I spent a lot of time on the deck, surrounded by trees and the sounds of moving water. It was a very zen experience. There is also a cozy fireplace inside. I ended up returning a few weeks later with my family. There are three spacious rooms, so it was a good fit. I plan on returning every summer and winter.

I had never heard of the Cabins at Strawberry before, but I noticed one of them was for sale while looking at Zillow. Because they are still being rented out, I decided to check it out. My wife and kids stayed at the Evergreen cabin. It was a big hit. During the day we visited Pinecrest Lake, but at night we played board games, watched a movie, and cooked dinner. The whole thing was really laid back. We haven’t really vacationed since Covid, but because this was within driving distance, we felt good about it. The cabin itself is spacious but has a warm feel. The topping on the cake for me is the deck overlooking the river.

This is a small place, cosy and quiet up Pine. Very local and quiet spot , good if u need just a few days out of town to relax and rest , but nothing much to do here now as too cold. The massage by Natalie ( owner ) was really so unbelievable good that worth every penny. Rick is also friendly and very helpful. The couple did a good job of maintaining the cabins and really helpful to their customers. ||Cabin is clean, lots of woods to burn since its winter and everything works well.

Awesome place. Quite, private and beautiful riverfront home. Walking distance to Strawberry Inn and Strawberry Store. 1.6 miles to Pinecrest lake & marina. 3 miles from Dodge Ridge Ski Resort.
