I got to eggs-plore the Happy Hens after attending the Hawk Watch event at the Wildlife Research Institute and a short hike in the area. Their cute little store have great items. I got some organic jumbo eggs.

Drove from Chula Vista to buy some eggs. Let me tell you first, yes, it was a drive but totally worth it it was the reset drive that was needed. Once we were getting closer cut signs let us know that we were on the right path. Once we arrive we fell in love. Such a cute little place and super friendly staff. Because we do not care about the drive this is going to be our new spot. I will take pictures next time and upload them.

What a delightful morning touring this farm and purchasing some of their exceptional product. The owners were very open about their process and answered all the questions from our group. We got to see one of the pastures, where the eggs got inspected, washed, and sorted. The hens all seemed very well tended to, comfortable, and happy to have the freedom to move around. We purchased a flat, and I can't wait to have some in tomorrow morning.

Nice place to visit and be sure to bring the kids. You can feed chickens, turkeys and sheep. Be sure to buy some delicious Dutch sugar cookies--you'll find them in the freezer. The price on eggs was great! The day we went, it was $5.50 for a dozen.

I have been getting my fresh eggs there for years. And I absolutely love the taste of their free ranging truly happy hens. If you see the beautiful surroundings where the hens roam and live, you would start laying delicious eggs yourself. And now they made the place a destination for families with small children by building a petting zoo and a playground. What a brilliant idea. And the eggs are egg- ceptionally yummy. Highly recommend a stop there.

We absolutely love these eggs we buy at least 8 flats a month. We used to buy the organic Costco but we both never thought they tasted like anything really. These are amazing and I don't get sick .

Full support to their vision! We discovered this place on the web when we started to read labels and learn more about our everyday food.. After that we visited and spent time outdoors with the animals and got answer to our questions, we made our decision. Since then, we only visit their farm and buy from them both double yolks and XL eggs as much as we can preserve until next time. Thank you everyone who is involved in this business.
