My husband and I had our wedding with Deb at Hidden Oaks July 1, 2023. Our original venue fell through and we booked with Deb only two months before our wedding. I want to start off by talking about how absolutely incredible Deb is. She is thorough and detail oriented, and cared deeply to make our dream wedding a reality.

From the minute we booked, she was on top of getting our day organized and even worked with my husband and I’s tricky work schedules by meeting us at our workplace in town. Having the add-on service of her as our coordinator was the best decision we ever made, and I don’t think our wedding would have been possible without it.

She got all of our family, bridal party, and vendor’s contact info and sent them detailed instructions, our wedding day schedule, and let them know the rule of no questions for the bride & groom the day of the wedding (which we appreciated SO much). It was such a relief to not have to pass on this information to our wedding party.

The Friday before our wedding, Deb had me drop off all my decor before our rehearsal. I was a DIY bride and created all of our floral arrangements myself. Deb kept all of our florals cool in her house and even misted our garland to keep it fresh before the wedding. She helped run my family and the bridal party through our rehearsal and was so patient, organized, and made sure the ceremony went exactly how we wanted.

The day of the wedding, Deb had a cute welcome sign set up for us ladies, coffee, soft drinks, and water ready for us. The house was air conditioned, well-lit, and adorable. I was doing my makeup myself so I was worried about having natural light, but the house was better than I could have imagined. The upstairs “getting ready” area was full of windows. There are two bedrooms - One for hair/makeup, one for getting dressed, and one bathroom. Deb left us alone in the house and gave us space to relax and be pampered all morning while she worked hard getting the venue set up.

The venue is absolutely stunning, and Deb helped me create the perfect balance of upscale and rustic. I swear she made my Pinterest board come to life. The first time I saw the venue was during the ceremony and I was in awe of how great it looked. All of our guests were raving about how beautiful the venue was. It was the perfect backdrop to our special day.

During the wedding, Deb kept her clipboard on her and made sure everything ran smoothly. She even brought us our food and drinks. She stayed completely calm and knew exactly what she was doing.

I am SO happy we chose to go with Hidden Oaks for our wedding venue. Thank you SO much Deb, we really cannot express our appreciation enough.

I recently had my wedding at Hidden Oaks and my experience was INCREDIBLE. The venue itself was my exact vision and turned out GORGEOUS. We hired Deb to do our day of coordination and she did such a great job that I don't know anything that may have gone wrong that day! My guests were so happy with the way everything looked and was run that many said it was the most fun wedding they've ever been too!

Details:
1. Pre-wedding, Deb was very responsive to emails and did a great job helping me navigate hiring our other vendors, even the ones not on her recommended list. She gave us lists of questions to ask the vendors and looked over our contracts before we signed them
2. We had to postpone our wedding a year and Deb was more than accommodating. She was very flexible in planning the new date and didn't charge us any fees!
3. In the weeks leading up to the wedding Deb did an excellent job of making sure that we had given her every detail of our vision so that she could execute it day-of. We had several meetings, went through her 5-page checklist (which the organizer in me LOVES), and created a wedding day timeline together (which she then made sure was sent to everyone who needed it).
4. The day before she allowed us to come to the venue and set up some of the larger decor pieces (like our arch) and helped us walk our bridal party through the rehearsal. She went though all the details one more times with me to show me that she had it all under control and to try to get me to worry less.
5. The day was a dream. We showed up at her house in the morning and she had coffee ready for us and a space for us to get ready. We took cute pictures and took our time getting pampered. Then we headed down to the venue for the first look and I got my first peek at the decor. Deb and her staff had executed my vision perfectly, in a way a would never have trusted any other stranger to do. She made sure that me and my husband were taken care of all the rest of the day: wishing us luck before walking down the aisle, getting us drinks and food so we didn't get caught in the lines, and all the little things like fetching me my change of shoes when my feet got tired in heels and helping me get them on when I couldn't bend down in my dress.
6. Her staff cleaned everything up for us and put it nicely in the Uhaul we had brought everything in, so that the next day we just had to come to the venue and collect the last couple things and the Uhaul! So easy!

I can't recommend this venue enough. It's budget friendly (which is not true of a lot of other venues in the San Diego area, I did A LOT of research), they do an AMAZING job of organizing and coordinating everything, and my wedding turned out looking like the dream I had for it.

Attended a wedding a couple weeks ago and fell in love with this venue...literally an oak grove but it was set up so beautifully. The rustic touches all over just added to the charm. I actually loved how it felt so far away and removed from everything. The staff was really great at making sure it was a perfect day. Cell service was very limited in the remote area, I actually couldnt get any service..but I didnt mind because it allowed me to fully be in the moment of the wedding and reception.

My daughter was married here and my husband and I are from Alabama, Deb the owner was so wonderful to include me from afar but also most importantly listened and guided my daughter and her now husband on decisions and ideas , the property is stunning and I felt like all aspects in a rustic setting were covered and user friendly ( including the golf cart to transport guests that needed assistance) Deb opened her beautiful home for the bridesmaids , I can’t thank her enough for making my baby girls dream wedding come true … Thank you Deb

I recently had my wedding at this BEAUTIFUL venue and I enjoyed every moment of it, thanks to Deb that made everything possible! She’s an amazing lady, super friendly and sweet. Even though everything was last minute she remained very flexible. We will always be grateful for that. I recommend this venue for anyone who’s looking for something unique! Also, I want to give a big shoutout to her assistant/photographer/coordinator, Shana, she’s OUTSTANDING at what she does. If you want perfect pictures for your memories, I really recommend her! Hidden oaks has a lot to offer! Definitely worth it! I loved everything about it!

Great little event spot tucked away in the hills of Ramona. Plenty of shade for mid-day events. Hosts where great, lots of play room (and parking) for large parties. You can be as loud as you want as there are not really any neighbors. It is a little bit of a drive so please be careful and don't drink and drive from here.
