We have stayed at the Chalet View many times over the years, and always enjoy a pleasant relaxing time. Excellent grounds to walk around, and games to play. The pool area is clean with plenty of lounge equipment. The pool is always refreshing for an afternoon swim. ||The Starbucks in the lobby is an added treat. They also have a brewery with small plates that opens each day at 4.

WHAT A TRUE GEM! I can't wait to visit again! Beautiful grounds, and event/wedding venue! You can tell the upkeep and the experience here is prioritized. High end room that was modern, and very clean. Bed was extremely cozy. Shower had GREAT pressure. Also a huge bonus that my dog was able to come along! I enjoyed my time on the lounge/patio next to the fireplace in the evening. Lodge staff were also very friendly & helpful. I recommend CVL for any kind of getaway!

At first glance this property is amazing but when you look closer it is a little janky or worn out. We stayed in a rustic cabin, and it is rustic. The vanity in the bathroom was falling apart, there is no way to keep the bathroom door open without slamming behind you, there were no screens on a majority of the windows so you couldn't leave open at night, the AC's are old and overused and make considerable noise, the rooms upstairs stink of oil in the late afternoon from what we guess was the roofing as there is no barrier between the roof and room, and the worst part was that the whole cabin creaked, and not a little but almost shook especially at night (and all night), like someone was walking across the roof but this would not of been possible, sounded almost haunted. Also the outlets a sparse and some didn't work. The pool area was very nice except the jacuzzi had not been serviced lately and the water was below the jets. The perks, it does have the Starbucks brand onsite, it is tastefully decorated, it has a six hole chip and putt course, sand volleyball and a Tesla charging station. We had a great experience with the staff. The brewery was cute and it was nice to have a full bar onsite.

I recently attended a wedding at Chalet View Lodge, and it was absolutely stunning. The lodge is nestled in the beautiful Sierra Nevada, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and luxury. The outdoor ceremony by the pond with towering pine trees was like a fairy tale, and the reception in the elegant pavilion was cozy yet sophisticated.

This place is beautiful! We came for a wedding and the outside was just breathtaking. The rooms are very clean and the bed super comfortable. Staff is very kind and friendly. This place is a 10/10 we loved it
