We really enjoyed the tour with Bennett tours. We opted for a morning photo tour, starting at 5:30. Our guide Clint grew up in monument valley and knew of some special photo spots and has deep roots in this area.
Special moments were looking at the beautiful red monuments as the sun arose and listening to Clint sing and play a drum.
We were up looking at some of the petroglyphs and started to hear flute music echoing off the walls that he had started to play. These were some of the special touches that Clint shared with us in addition to hiking out into the dunes to see the sun rise. This beats some of the larger tours speaking to you through a PA system. If your wiling to listen and show your interest you will be well rewarded.

We had a great tour with Clint. He talked about the Dine culture and spirituality as well as about the movies made in the area. Of course he described what we were seeing - the rock formations as well as the plant life.
