This train was an exceptional experience! The train was so fun to ride, and there were many ornaments on various trees to boost the holiday spirit. Father solstice was on another train, boosting the experience (but he probably won't be there if you don't come on the solstice) there was incredible scenery, and the whole experience was unforgettable. 10/10 would return

Went to take my dogs for a walk at the park.There are plenty of trails that are marked for dogs on leash. As a dog owner,I advise people to keep their dogs on the leash. There was a large coyote standing in the grassy field right next to the trail we were walking on. To end the day we took our dogs for a train ride. FYI dogs ride for free. Humans have to pay. Plenty of parking even on a Sunday.

Best bargain in the Bay! Just $4/ride for an authentic (though miniature) steam locomotive to take me on a 12-min ride under redwoods & through a tunnel & over bridges… all aboard!! Charming, romantic & enjoyable for all ages, families & friends.

Steam Train is amazing! Riding the steam train was so much fun and felt really cool. The tickets are cheap, and there were no problems with parking or waiting in line. The ride lasts about 10 minutes, which is just right to enjoy the old-timey train and the nice views. It’s a great spot to visit with family or friends!

Great time! Got there when they opened and it was packed. By the time we rode both trains, it was empty. If going on the weekend, I’d recommend going around 1 pm to avoid crowds. Parking is a pain but if you’re willing to walk a short distance, skip the first lot and go to the back lot.

Cute little train. Super reasonable price for a 12 min ride. Much of the ride is shaded and can provide a nice relief from the sun. I wish the route was a bit more scenic but just feels like a ride through the woods.

Line may look long but goes by quick. Really tough to find parking.
