Beautiful, restored mansion! Free entrance. They have gorgeous decorations during christmas and its worth visiting. The staff are very nice too and very knowledgeable about the history of the house.

We went to the Morbid Obsession tour at the McHenry last night...I've been on similar tours in the bay area of historical homes and it was one of the best tours I've been on in regards to sharing history of Victorian death practices...well thought out and the house was amazing! I'd like to go back for their Christmas tour!!! The docents were amazing and kind...it was cool to see people of all ages and backgrounds on the tour. I highly recommend it!!!

Built in 1883 by Robert McHenry this restored mansion is where time stands still! It was a temporary sanitarium with its 23 rooms. A beautiful example of Victorian-Italianate style.

This Victorian style home who is built in 1880 by Robert McHenry he was a rancher and politician in the area eventually this old mansion became a sanitarium then eventually apartment buildings it was preserved in the 80s and restored in 2011 it was damaged by a fire then restart again

Our Photo Booth Rental company, Photo Fun Zone, provided a photo booth for a wedding at McHenry Mansion. It's a cute venue with a nice outdoor area.
