Allison was definitely a lifesaver when it came to executing my wedding reception. I am so thankful for her talent and generosity in making the wedding reception of my dreams come true. She is extremely responsive and has been there every step of the way from our initial meeting to the very end. She is always available for anything that I needed her for and she helped me stay calm during the planning process. She attended the meeting with the DJ and the final walkthrough at the venue, where she provided great insight and ideas of the layout and timeline. Allison has lots of experience, so if you’re stumped about anything or need ideas, she knows what to say or how to handle it.

Most of my vendors already knew her, which made the event run even more smoothly. Her and her husband assisted in picking up and returning linens, returning bud vases, set-up/decorating the venue, setting up my guestbook, card box, and memory table, and they also did the clean-up/tear down of the venue. My husband and I are so grateful for everything they did. Additionally, Allison does have a rental package that includes a variety of items that you may want or need for your special event.

Overall, I highly recommend having Upon a Star Events as your wedding planner/coordinator, etc. Allison and her husband did such an exceptional job. You will not find a better person by your side to execute your special day.

Also, I have never seen someone who knows how to bustle a wedding dress as well and quickly as she does. Brides-to-be, you will want to hire her, especially for this. The photos are by Casey Williamson.

Allison is absolutely amazing. If you have not already booked her for your wedding, do it ASAP! You won’t regret it. The amount of compliments I got towards her and her hard work not only from the wedding party but also just guests in general were never ending. She truly held the day together. We got delayed due to rain and everything still went fabulous. She makes sure everything is good to go on the day of but also didn’t mind any of my bridal questions leading up to the wedding. I couldn’t imagine the day without her, even my bridesmaid was like “Can you even imagine not having Allison here?” , I would have lost my mind. Okay, so I will recommend her company for EVERY couple. Allison made my wedding dreams come true. Seriously. First of all, we met about a month before to go over everything and chat over what I wanted and all that. She was professional, and instantly matched my vibe. On the days leading up, she was easily reachable, and answered every question I had. Allison made sure to address any issues I had quickly and efficiently. Some of the vendors were hard to get a hold of, even the week prior, and she told me not to worry about it at all, she had my back. The day of, she set up all the tables (and they were BEAUTIFUL). Allison was attentive to my needs and was constantly making sure I was drinking enough water. She even put food in front of me and told me to eat. She made my wedding day absolutely perfect. I didn’t worry about a single thing, I was able to sit back, relax and enjoy my day. It’s funny, because the next day, everyone was telling me how my kiddo had a meltdown, and how many other things happened, but I wasn’t aware of any of it, because she was so quick to handle situations. She made sure I was present for all the things I wanted to be present for, and I didn’t miss anything important. Not only that, she is genuinely a cool person. I recommend her to anyone looking for a Wedding Planner or Day of coordinator. She was fantastic and I can’t say enough great things about her. My wedding day was perfect because of her and I can’t thank her enough!

I was absolutely blown away with how professional, organized, and attentive Jose and Alison are! I cannot recommend once upon a star event coordination enough. Jose kept me on track all wedding day from set up, reception, first dance, pictures, clean up etc. He always made sure there was drink in my husband and and I’s hand, all night long. He made a plate of food and dessert for us - all without asking. He is incredibly thoughtful. Alison and Jose’s joy in making your wedding day dreams come true is so evident. I could not of asked for a better coordinator. I am someone who worries a lot and so I had so many questions for Allison and she was always so nice and never showed to be annoyed. The day of would not of ran so perfect if it wasn’t for her and her team. I got so many compliments from my wedding party on her and how much they liked her.

Allison worked closely with us every step of the way to plan our wedding. She gave great feedback and helped us to find everything we needed. On the day of the wedding, she kept things running smoothly even when faced with schedule changes or bumps in the road. She even ran to Walmart during the wedding to get a cake box when our bakery forgot to provide one. We highly recommend her planning services!
