I'm a local and frequent the restaurant often so for my birthday I splurged and booked an overnight getaway by myself (sans kids, hubby). Room was so comfortable - high quality sheets, extra pillows, super quiet. The Park restaurant bar was perfect for dinner - loved the Halibut with spring peas and orzo. Bartender Marisa is really friendly and very skilled! The gym is small but has high quality equipment and only 1-2 people when I was there (2x). Ordered room service and it was heavenly and fast. Service throughout the stay was very considerate and thoughtful. I had poolside lunch and swimming and the staff brought extra ice tea. Every single aspect was perfect, and I'm picky! Dreaming of my next stay!

Dry nice clean, comfortable hotel. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The Bistro had very good breakfasts and lunch selections. The spa was peaceful and very enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Lafayette California area.

I stay at the LPH for at least a week every month and I've never had anything other than a splendid time. The staff here is amazing -- everyone is super competent and caring and friendly. They'll all go the extra mile -- with a smile -- to take great care of hotel guests. This place really understands customer service. My room was large and comfortable and quiet, with a terrific view, a good desk for working, two comfortable chairs for reading and lots of lights. The curtains do a great job of blocking out the light.

Really disappointed..
If you go when they have an event at night, you are basically stuck. There will be no parking even though you pay $25 for it. The bar and restaurant will be closed and it will be so loud.
We couldn’t use the pool and hot tub, there was kids jumping in and making a mess and so much noise. Pretty sure the kids were part of the event and the parents just sent them so they wouldn’t have to watch them.

The staff just looked down on me and my wife and straight up laughed at us when we just asked a simple question.

The room is just so outdated. The tv is just so old and bad. It turned off by itself randomly and there isn’t a lot of choice on it. One of the lights was not working. The ceiling of a part of the room just looks so bad ( picture included ). Looked like a office building ceiling that was never cleaned.

Overhaul, for a nearly $400 night, this is so not worth it. No breakfast included, no discount on the spa, staff that looks down on you.

It was supposed to be a special occasion for us. Now it will just be remembered as one of the worst stays.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a perfect night's sleep. The staff was exceptionally friendly and always willing to help with a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning decor and a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming stay.

Clean, spacious rooms with a nice pool and hot tub. TV systems need to be updated for Netflix, ... Regardless, a nice quiet place to spend a wedding anniversary. Good location to restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A nice layout and close to Berkeley.

Our stay at the Lafayette Park Hotel was fabulous. It's in a great location. The garage parking was great, and since we had to move luggage in and out of our stay, it couldn't have been easier. ||||We enjoyed the Park Bistro for breakfast and dinner.
