Very disappointing.

TL;DR They have a strict return policy so make sure the date and time on your ticket is accurate before you leave. They will fight you even if it is their mistake. Pay with credit so that you can dispute it.

I want to start this off by saying that this usually is a great company, and a great office. My family and I, as well as friends, have often used their private shuttle service to get to and from San Ysidro. We've used it almost every time we want to head to Mexico; definitely for more that 10 years. I'm acquainted with many of the receptionists and drivers. They've always been on time. They've always gotten us where we need to be safely.

So you can imagine our surprise when we were told that the ticket we bought the other day in afternoon (Aug 29), was for that day in the morning. On the ticket it says, verbatim:

Issued: Thu Aug 29, 2024 3:34 PM

We were trying to travel yesterday (Aug 30) at 10:15 AM. When we went in person the other day (Aug 29), we asked for the 10:30AM bus for tomorrow. I don't even know how their system would allow them to sell a past expired ticket. It wasn't cheap either, I bought two round trip tickets each at $65 USD.

What's even worse is that, in their eyes, that ticket has expired, so we couldn't even get another bus later!! We would either have to buy another one way ticket, or convert the returning ticket!! It was their mistake, they sold us an expired ticket. The receptionist wasn't even apologetic in the slightest. No apologies, no direction on what to do next, just yea I see the mistake but I'm not going to do anything to try and fix it vibe. She even went as far as to say that we should have checked our ticket before leaving.

It being so close to the weekend there weren't any seats left at other times until Sunday. Thankfully we just wanted to go to like shop around and for tourism. Nothing urgent and were planning to return the same day.

Now I sadly have a soured view of this place. I'm so glad that I paid in with a credit card instead of cash like I usually would. Imagine if I had reservations, or it was a family emergency; I would have had to fork over even more money.
There aren't many services like this that are as dependable, easy to find, or drop you off so close to the US-Mexico Border. Until I get a car, I might have to use them in the future. Lesson learned: I will pay in person with a credit card and make damn sure that the travel date is accurate down to the last minute.

I took my Dad today ,so they can pick him up we were there at 10am at 10:30am they supposed to pick him up so we waited,at 10:30am transportation wasn't coming lady called from office saying there on there way so we waited another 10 -15 min during that time there was nothing so we got back on the car to wait for 2 -3 min I saw van leaving I chased van to stop him like 40 feet away and he was I'm gone forget you lady was saying that it was atour fault when it wasn't so unprofessional, they left my handicap dad ,very bad services this telephone lady tried to blame us and tried to change the tables around like if it was our fault

Great way to travel to Boarder in 3 hrs. Nice ride great price. Everyone speaks english and spanish.

It’s the worst customer service I called to get my ticket , the reseptionest told me there’s no need that there was a lot of seats available and when I got to office in Baldwin park she told me the bus was full she was Laughing
