If you’re thinking about having a wedding with everything included The Desmond is the place. I got married September 29, 2024 & it was amazing. The staff is very attentive. Anything I didn’t like or thought could be a possible problem they made sure it was corrected. Great job guys & I will recommend this place to future brides.

Our wedding held at Desmond Malvern was so beautiful. From the Ballroom A to Cocktail Hour and dinner in the Conservatory, it was the perfect wedding venue. Everyone raved at how beautiful it was. The staff was great and Karen did an outstanding job with coordinating the event. My sister also enjoyed her hotel room and that is a rare occurrence.

We could not be happier with the service we received from the staff at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern during our wedding weekend. Cynthia was very professional and friendly and helped us to set up the hotel block, as well as our after party. It was a pleasure working with her. Samantha worked very hard with great professionalism and courtesy as well to assist with our bookings. During the stressful experience of planning a wedding, it was a great relief to work with such professional and nice people for our hotel block. Our guests all loved the accommodations and hotel bar.

We picked the greater Malvern area for our wedding as it was convenient for both of our families. A search of WeddingWire gave us a list of potential venues. The Desmond was the last one we visited and the conservatory immediately caught our attention on the tour. As we were having a smaller wedding (~50 ppl) we were able to book the conservatory as the location for our wedding ceremony. By choosing the Desmond, we were able to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in the same location where our guests could stay overnight.

Kevin, the Director of Sales, was our main point of contact, and all we could have hoped for. He helped us arrange our food tasting, cake tasting with the Master's Baker (our cake was included in our package), answered any and all questions we came up with, and to finalize all of the logistics for the actual wedding. He was flexible with helping us deal with last-minute substitutions for allergies and made sure our space was able to accommodate guests with wheelchairs. Our wedding on May 5, 2023, was exactly what I imagined and I still get glowing comments from our guests about the event.

Andy, the banquet manager, was also a dream to work with. On the day of our wedding, he helped with making sure our decor was on point, and his staff was wonderful throughout the whole night. Dottie, the bartender, was an absolute treat - she was funny, personable, and kept the drinks coming!

Overall, I am so glad my husband and I chose the Desmond to make our wedding a reality.

I can't recommend The Desmond Hotel enough for your wedding needs! Recently married last week, it was a pleasure working with Karen and her team from the start. All of our many questions and requests were handled professionally and they truly did everything to make the process as easy as possible, while providing constant reassurance along the way that our day would be beautiful. And it was! Beautiful is an understatement! I was completely in awe of how gorgeous the venue looked, they handled all our of decor and items provided with care, even shifting decors from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception in ways that truly brought tears to my eyes.

It was more than we could've ever dreamed of! Karen was there the day of the ceremony, from directing the ceremony, prepping me to walk down the aisle, and being there for the bustling of my gown! She brought a calming presence that any bride will appreciate!

Our guests RAVED about all of the food, how delicious everything was -- especially the Dim Sum station at cocktail hour! The staff was extremely attentive to my husband and I, we truly were never empty handed or bellies not full. They really made us feel like stars, especially our personal point person at the reception Andy. Lastly, we had a lot of out of towners who couldn't get over how convenient it was having the hotel right there, and that they didn't want to leave as the beds were so comfy! You will not regret having your event at the Desmond -- I would do our wedding day 10x over exactly the way it was. The Desmond team made it an experience we will never forget or want to change!

Smoke & Mirrors Be VERY specific of your questions and be VERY sure you understand the response because when they say yes they will do whatever , you find out afterwards when they get your NON refundable deposit that what they said yes to is at an extra cost. And don’t expect immediate responses to your calls or emails. I had to write a list for a friend to double check everything was done the day of my daughter wedding because there were that many issues and concerns and I just couldn’t check it all and get ready too. I would REALLY think long and hard before you book your special event here because they have a cold uncaring attitude once they real you in. OH and the wait staff yelled at our kids table for moving the bride and grooms sons chair to the bridle table, which the bride did. Not the kids. Did you pick that up? They yelled at KIDS!!! I’ll never go there again, even for their restaurants.

Our wedding at The Desmond was magical and THE best day of our lives! Our guests said it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding. We cannot thank the Desmond enough, making us all feel “at home” working so hard behind the scene making the magic happen! We want to do it all over again!
